Also suits me cca. 30 visits, just right. I count only those with at least 1000m elevation gain. I too used to hike "with watch in hand": morning Triglav, afternoon home Šmarna gora. For me mountains are best in winter, then I do most ascents. Now I take time and wander from morning to evening, preferably in Martuljek solitude; those are real "jungles". Hribi.net. I like to read, write less often; I'm like that. And one more greeting to all who create this nice portal, Marjan.

At home on the sunny side of Pohorje above Sl. Bistrica. I manage only around 10 to 15 visits to Slovenian mountains per year, of course not counting hikes on home Pohorje, which are the most. To nearby Three Kings at least 1x weekly, besides that I also cycle quite a bit, mainly in the area from Areh all the way to Rogla. Otherwise I go to mountains mostly with wife, sometimes one of our children joins us. Hiking is my hobby, albeit to a smaller extent for about 20 years. I plan most routes with the help of Hribi.net, which is an invaluable source of information on current conditions for me.

Hello,
I go to hills always in company with Johan. We are from the capital but not Ljubljaners. For quite some years we wander above 1000m. Per year we do some 40 to 50 visits. We go each for our own soul, as only up there you feel true freedom. We very much like to withdraw to peace and quiet, since our daily life is too stressful. In short, to hills for relaxation and gathering new strength.

Hello!
To hills or rather mountains I go a bit more actively last 5 years since I also do tour skiing. Together with winter I manage around 20 tours, but I hope that this number will increase. I hike with girlfriend, ski alone or with friend, some slightly harder tour I also do alone. Otherwise sworn Gorenc from upper Sava valley, which is almost in the center of everything I love.

Hello son of the mountains coming from the valleys, rest peacefully here and return happily back, this is written on the wall in the mountain hut on Čemšeniška planina, my home is under the planina, nicely visible on the last picture from Zalas.
Zalas, if this is your unknown world let me know, I'll describe it to you in more detail.

Well, I'll write about myself.. : otherwise cross-border Krasovec, 44 years old, I'd say almost genuine :-) I wander a bit everywhere, on home hills I like to go at night if possible, I also like night tours to the sea (not far away). Otherwise mainly I follow or help as much as possible on some cross-border Karst walks or hikes.. Most of all I like walking with my little 6-year-old son, because it's a pleasure for me to watch his will

My name is Blaž, I come from Carinthia. Already since my young years with the family I go to the mountains. In the teenage period I somewhat abandoned these activities, in recent years it pulled me back again. I also do fishing, especially spinning and fly fishing, in winter I snowboard. I'm also a volunteer firefighter, otherwise a student at the Faculty of Law.

From the area around Kamnik. I don't have time to be 100 times (or more) in the hills per year, maybe 20 real rounds are possible for me, but I don't count Kamniški vrh and Sv. Primož. Otherwise I run, cycle, slowly tackling kitesurfing, I love skiing terribly and currently looking for gear for ski touring

haha what can I say I read you, that I'm total greenhorn in this area in April it'll be one year since I found new passion(thanks to my colleague for that) -knee biting or hiking in mountains but up to almost Jurja then half way I kinda go, goal probably our Triglav next year, otherwise Tržič girl surrounded by plenty choice where to go

I'm Amadea and I come from near Krško. Exactly under Bohor. Only last year my boyfriend and I started going to the hills more frequently. The best about reaching a summit is mainly the view and the feeling that I've achieved something, which I couldn't even imagine a year ago. And also that I do something for myself and my body.
Otherwise we started with smaller ascents, several times to Bohor, Boč, Veliko Kozje in Posavje, then Lisca, Trdinov vrh, in between and now also some higher peaks like Golica, Krvavec. We've walked a lot also in Tolmin and Kobarid area this summer, where we stayed a whole week. Otherwise I record and describe my hikes and trips (access, path) and add photos in my blog http://amadeaz.blogspot.com/ under the group trips and views, where besides hills there are also some other excursions mostly in Slovenia. What can I say, I enjoy discovering new beauties of Slovenia. Next year I hope we go camping to Bohinj.

I'm Primož from Idrija. I've been hiking since childhood. Dad and mom got me hooked, they dragged me to nearby hills almost every weekend. Last 3 years I'm the one dragging them to the hills. I've conquered many peaks already. Highest was Tofana di Mezzo in the Dolomites. I love climbing via ferratas as well as easy paths. I'm interested in high mountains for sure. Since I love mountains a lot, I'll try alpinism too. I do 30-40 tours a year, most in summer. Considering I'm still very young (16 years) I hope a long hiking and maybe even alpinistic career awaits me. Nice greetings to all mountain friends!

I'm from Jesenice, my name is Majda. In a year I manage about 70-80 ascents. Of these
about 30 above 2000 m asl. Besides that, my little dog and I go at least 2x weekly to the chapel on Kalvarija, above Jesenice. I've been
hiking more intensively in the mountains for the last 11 years.
We even had our own hiking
group at work "Špikova četa", which unfortunately

No, Majda, we're two from Jesenice who introduced ourselves as Jesenicians.
I was born in Jesenice, - under Mežakla, then I also lived in Koroška Bela, on Javornik and Dobrava, and again (also currently) in Jesenice - on Železarjeva..,
already 5th decade.. ..my parents were from here too.
I like Jesenice. And people who are proud of them.
I'm a local patriot.
Which two days of the week are those when you climb to the chapel on Kalvarija? At what time of day do you go up there? I think we'll meet soon.. And let's go further some day .. e.g., to Jelen kamen, Pristava or Španov vrh..
