The sign was put up legally, but the sign had no validity, so it stood "in vain".

I wouldn't agree with you: if the sign is set according to the valid traffic regime set by the municipality, municipal wardens can fine you. They have the basis. Similar with the arranged parking at Jezersko before the cargo cableway for both huts. Beyond the arranged parking there is a clear no driving sign for all vehicles: so you risk a fine if you drive by car to the cableways. Although quite some drivers ignore that sign (seen last Saturday).

I'd just add about the road condition, which is anyway worse; heavy rains damaged it quite a bit so you gotta watch how you drive, otherwise you can get to Žagana peč and further if the car is not too low.

Depends on your driving and car. With a lower car maybe you won't make it to the end, depends on bravery.
Bigger problem than rain are drivers who dig ditches in the roadbed with revs. On two bends the road is quite messed up.
Just drive as far as it goes.

And if you turn on gray cells you'll find diacritics on newer devices too.
