Today on Jezerski Stog.
We ascended from Krsteniški preval, descended to Jezerskega.
Nice and already quite cold day with a play of mists, wind and clouds nasmeh

Yesterday I drove to Pokljuka, but the wind was already blowing in the morning, accompanying me all day... zavijanje z očmi

From Rudno polje, over Studorski preval and almost to Vodnikov dom, but I turned earlier to Mali polje and on to the planina below Mišelj vrh and to Mišeljski preval, first climbed steep grass to Prevalski Stog, made a loop over Adam and Eva, then descended below the walls, of course went a bit my own way, but this time I had to turn back zadrega

and find the path that took me to Jezersko sedlo... then another 10 min and I was on Jezerski Stog... views fantastic today, no need to go to the valley...
Descent to Jezersko sedlo, then down back to Mali polje, where I enjoyed the day slowly passing in the shelter...

hmm, that one still waiting and I hope it waits for me :)

already walked today, Adam, Eva and Prevalski Stog...

Yesterday a beautiful day to visit Jezerski stog, which allowed us wonderful views of the surroundings. I was particularly attracted by the view of the area between Debel vrh and Škednjovec and of course the view of Mišeljski greben with Triglav in the background. Eva and Adam are also very dominant in the foreground, maybe even more Eva.
The path was enlivened by meeting acquaintances from Pd Medvode.

Yesterday in excellent weather on Jezerski stog. From pl. Blato to Krstenica and along the eastern side of Mali stog to the saddle between M. stog and Jezerski stog to the summit. Descent to Jezerce, return to Krstenica, then also to pl. Laz, pl. Jezero back to Blato. The path Laz - Jezero has been turned by landowners in Laz into a road for tractors and quads. The path is torn up and muddy, I won't go quickly on it, nor recommend it to others. Best regards

Due to high temperatures today I start at four in the morning from planina Blato. In the dark with some luck I hit the path to Krstenica. Already after half an hour birds start singing and I reach the planina as dawn begins. At the end of the planina I turn right and find the path that climbers use to climb Jezerski Stog. The path is dry, only one spot has some snow remnants. The path is easy, only the exit from the small gully to the ridge just below the summit is a bit awkward. At six I'm already at the top enjoying warm sun rays. I continue along the ridge and from the saddle climb also to Adam and Eva, and on to Prevalski Stog and Mišeljski preval. Up to here no noteworthy snow. But when descending the path towards Lazovski preval there is more and more snow. But the sun has softened it so much that winter gear was not needed. Descent from Lazovski preval mostly still on snow, so caution is advised. From planina in Laz I turn towards Planina pri Jezeru. The path is fortunately still mostly under snow, as it's no longer a hiking path but a tractor one. At Planina pri Jezeru the hut is officially still closed, but preparing for opening, so tea is already available. Toll in Stara Fužina already collected, but I got away without paying due to early hour. I must praise the Bohinj people, in fifteen years they asphalted almost the entire route, so at least you know where the money goes, unlike Vrata valley where they also collect toll but the road has been gravel for twenty years.

Beautiful nature above Planina Krstenica, winter idyll, path trampled, crampons and ice axe stayed in the backpack. On the return snow was melting well, if there's no cooling it will melt quickly.

Well, morning at planina Blato was moderately cold, thermometer in mobile bedroom showed -8°C. velik nasmeh

, so quickly path under feet and already everything was in motion chasing the sun... planina Krstenica was warming up and bench in the sun was super excuse for first snack. Continuation below Krsteniški Stog, to Jezerski Stog, where it was blowing like crazy velik nasmeh

, so "express" descent towards Jezerski preval and over really steep grass and frozen scree to Prevalski Stog, where in shelter followed second snack nasmeh

, then greeting to both "lovers" and descent over "Jezerca" and Krstenica to planina Blato.
Road bp, path bp, gear stayed on shoulders velik nasmeh

Yesterday we spent one wonderful, almost summer day on the Krstenica pasture and Jezerski Stog. I won't talk about the weather, but about the visit so much that those who were late parked at the junction for Vogar. Nature is now really in the most beautiful colors, but it won't be long, hurry up...

Today to the long-desired Jezerski Stog. From the parking lot at Blato pasture it's best to go to Krstenica pasture along the hiking road - better said cart track, because the shortcuts don't quite work out for us. The path is unmarked - we have some signposts that we follow diligently and reach the magical Krstenica pasture. In summer it's lively, now you rarely meet a hiker. Head to the well-trodden little path towards Jezerce pasture. There's also water there, which comes in handy in summer. Above the pasture then up the lovely path along the combs to the grassy ridge that brings us almost to the top. Below the summit it's a bit gravelly, nothing special. The summit rewards us with a beautiful view all around. It really invites us to, say, Mišelj vrh, Ogradi and elsewhere.

The parking lot at planina Blato was more solitary today.

We can go along the path above the road or directly on the road.

A bit gravelly towards the summit nonetheless.

This must be Vernar, the guardian over Vodnikov dom. I've climbed to its summit twice already - left is the summit, right is the forepeak.

I observed the last Prevalski Stog near Jezerce pasture. I think Eva is right, because from Jezerski pass you see her face on the left. Unmarked paths lead to all three Stogs. Prevalski is the most distant and as the maps show you have to go left at Jezerce pasture to it. Further on there must be a path junction where the path turns right to this last Stog. Left I know the path goes to Lazovski pass. I've been at that pass when I went left here to Debeli vrh, and also to Ograde. Along this right path we should reach Mišelj pass and there the map shows that we climb right to Prevalski Stog. If there's no snow in November I'll try to get up. Years ago I was only at Krsteniški Stog.

Yesterday to Jezerski Stog from Blato pasture via Krstenica pasture.
After a completely clear morning it clouded over quite quickly, but we still managed to catch some nice views from the top.
Descent to Jezerski pass, where due to fog we abandoned continuing to Adam and Eva.
When we returned to Blato pasture we were surprised by the number of cars, as there was no free space all the way to the Vogar junction and further.

Yesterday 21.2. I went via Voje to Vodnikov dom. About a kilometer before Planina pod Mišelj vrhom the path disappeared under snow, and it wasn't trodden either, so finding passages through the rugged terrain was quite demanding (picture 25). I slept in the winter room, then to Jezerski Stog. The snow didn't sink too much in the morning. I descended to Krstenica pasture. In the morning the snow creaked nicely underfoot, like real winter.

In the winter room I found brown glasses with prescription, owner please report to ZS.
