Today past Žagane peči over Kalce to the top. Up to Kalc dry, ahead snow settled, it sinks a bit. The gully is well filled, snow solidly frozen.

Yesterday full-day circular group tour done, namely Jezerca-planina Koren-Kompotela-Vrh Korena-Kal Ridge-planina Dolga Njiva-Krvavec-Jezerca.
Marked properly, except last part of Dolga Njiva. Path tidy, no issues. At Kompotela top cows with calves and even a couple of horses greeted usnasmeh
On Kal Ridge classic - sheep.
Sadly from ridge no view of Orjak north due to fog, but excellent vibe by ZLATA Janja whose show we watched.
At end Kekec staff at Krvavec hotel deserves mention and praise! Top service, friendliness and speed!

Bottom line: 20km path and 1350m ascent done on this beautiful day!

This time conditions far from friendly. The forecast was sort of "a bit worse" weather than yesterday... but it was quite "much worse"zadrega

Otherwise all around pure white, even the two of us ended up more like two snowmen.jezik But in all that white awfully little snow.

In memory of.... from pl. Jezerca walked all the way over Vrh Korena. There only then put on crampons, ahead all the way hard. Observed ornaments, colors, mists in the valley, sun, clouds, views. Wasn't cold, little wind, at the top say goodbye.... not rushing, darkness would catch me anyway, back to starting point arrive already no one anywhere anymore.

Pl. Jezerca, Vrh Korena, crampons put on at top of Korena for that traverse, there were smaller steps, descent to 1850m and up on hard base. Sinking of course nowhere. At top almost no wind, nothing cold. Descent back and that ascent to Vrh Korena tires you quite more additionally. Descent at hunting hut already complete darkness, only stars were above me, at Jezerca last leave parking.

I notice that in recent years this has been my fairly popular winter tour... so I decided to lead the members of our society this year as well. Technically it is not too demanding or too exposed, but they can experience "real winter in the mountains" nasmeh

In the end all 10 participants confidently reached the summit. Despite the warm weather and southern snow, which additionally made things more difficult.

On the last ascent towards the summit, a little, similar to then the second ascent to Koren, by far the most on the descent from Koren. It was also noticeable that this part was obviously really heavily visited, while the Kalški greben itself significantly less.
