I always go like this - my suggestion for you:
Matizovec - Kofce - Veliki Vrh - Kofce gora - Veliko Kladivo - Škrbina - Tegoška gora - Užnik - Macesje - Ostrv - Košutnikov turn - to Dolga Njiva via the eastern path, then below through all the pastures back to Kofce and down to Matizovec.
The whole path is marked and well visible, length a bit over 30 km with 2200 m ascent.

If you mean the whole ridge (or at least Turn-Veliki Vrh), it's smartest to organize the tour with two cars. That lower crossing drags on like a donkey's gut.

I go exactly the opposite way as nteam.

I started at the parking under Kofce from where it's officially 30 min to Kofce. Then through all pastures to Planina Zgornja Dolga Njiva. I skipped Tolsta Košuta and climbed to Košutnikov Turn and along the ridge all the way to Veliki Vrh and descent back to Kofce. Namely, I much prefer walking on ridges than below, so I saved the nicer part for the second part of the tour(c)e nasmeh

Košuta Ridge: central part - from Košutnikov Turn to Kladivo

I start the circular tour walking to Pl. Pungart, then above Tegovska Alm and further to Dolga Njiva more or less flat (about 1.5 h), from there up to Koš. Turn, then mainly along the ridge top and numerous lesser-known peaks "up-down" towards the west, over Škrbina to Kladivo, from there down towards Šija and along the Košuta-Hiking traverse back to Pungrt.
Nice and not too difficult trip … recommended, beautiful, green, calm, scenic, a bit more visitors only at both endpoints of this section.

One more from before the snow. But snow is almost gone here, and the day was already short before mežikanje

The full crossing (not just the marked part) has been planned for some time. Seriously since last year, first ideas even older. It always held "when stable weather and long day, and not too much heat". No more heat. The day is...shorter than the night, but still doable nasmeh

A bit less demanding hike than Trobec's mežikanje, still Košuta with its over 10 km long ridge between Veliki vrh and Košutnikov turn offered tons of hiking pleasures. From Šije to the start in a good hour and since fortune favors the bold, rewarded with beautiful sunrise on Veliki vrh. Continuation under Toplar, across Kofce gora past Mali to Veliko Kladivo pure poetry, views continuing via descent to Škrbina and ascents to Pungrat, Tegoška gora, Užnik, Macesje and after under five hours finally on K. turn views all around for gods.

Definitely Košuta ridge traverse is a soul tour, especially in good weather richly rewarded per meter with views from Pece via KSA, Storžič, Julijcev to Karavanke. Ok, deep into Austria too mežikanje, mostly hiking traverse spiced with cables and ridge between Užnik and Ostrvje.

Conditions dry now whole ridge, except small snowfield just below V. Kladivo no big deal. But careful, grass under ridge path wet and slippery, no stops before Kofce - Dolga njiva almost. Same for steep descent from Turn to Dolga njiva, muddy and slippery rocks up top quite tough so paraglider jump at summit good option mežikanje

18.6.2023 - Košuta Ridge first sunrise on Košutnikov turn then along whole ridge with all intermediate peaks to Veliki vrh then deserved cooldown at Kofce and return past pastures to start. Path wonderful and longvelik nasmeh with exceptional views. Not many visitors only on Veliki vrh and Kofce along ridge met maybe 5 people total. About 30km and quite some elevation, anyway another wonderful day in mountainsnasmeh

I was there Saturday too. And really as Matox described. Though some people on Veliki Kladivo too. Anyway really super tour. Really wonderful day. Views, legs get rest. No excuses. Recommend.

Even at night the Košuta ridge is equally long as during the day jezik velik nasmeh
