Kresišče, Mojstrovica, Visoki (kurji) vrh

Today (13.02.2019) I went on skis from Srednji Vrh along the road above Hladnik stream and over planina Grajščica to Kresišče. Snow starts on the road that branches left about 700 m ahead from Srednji Vrh towards the hunting hut and planina Grajščica. There I left the car too (space barely for two vehicles). Snow gradually increases with every meter, already before the hunting hut behind Lepi vrh I had big problems with skins that were forming on the skis. Track of a single skier, occasionally windblown, led over Grajščica and on to the saddle left of Kresišče and then along the NW ridge to the top. There at least almost a meter of snow (for comparison attaching photo from the top that Janez Novak posted 14 days ago). Views from the top divine, skiing alternating on crust, hardened snow and on shady spots also powder. Back along the road with a bit of pushing and crossing two or three streams right to the car.

Yesterday I parked in Belca, walked up the valley to the barrier and then turned onto the path leading towards Jepci (path to Kepa). From Jepci I continued along the border ridge to Kresišče and descended from the top to the meadows below it. My goal was to reach the saddle between Mojstrovica and Tislerica and then return via the road to the valley, but before that after circling around Laskovec I poked around a bit for the path marked on the PZS map that should lead to Brdca (Na planji) in the valley. Probably hit its start, but it all led to steep terrain that didn't give the best feeling. Didn't worry too much, returned to the slope of Tislerica and started assessing its eastern slope along a little path I'd seen earlier from the ridge. After a few minutes I reached a collapsed spot where some iron bars sadly gaped from the slope - was there once a little bridge? I wouldn't continue over that collapse myself - let alone with a dog - so turned back in that second ... Had enough of such and other attempts at that point, so plunged into the northern slopes of Tislerica along some steep pathlet. Was neither interesting nor fun, mostly straight up, reached the top and on descent on the south side hit a comfortable pathlet coming from the western slope. The pathlet brought me to the saddle between Tislerica and Mojstrovica where the road starts. From there the jam was over and with the dog we marched happily along the roads or road remains to the dead end in Belca. A bit different, but fantastic tour.
