Pedestrians are also traffic, that's what I meant. As far as I follow, people walk a lot between Kuhinja and Drežnica, there the path is nicely arranged, meanwhile probably rarely anyone heads to Ladra. The Peace Trail makes a fairly unnecessary detour there, surely the alternative via Drežnica and Kobarid is much more popular. Both are official variants, both come into play for the purposes of this topic. In my opinion, the Drežnica one is nicer and better arranged and more convenient for most visitors, although longer. For what Marx is asking, the Ladrska one definitely comes into consideration too.

14.08. Nice tour in solitude. We only met one hiker, who overtook us. Otherwise no one anywhere. It was crowded at the shelter and summit though. August bustle. Also on descent via southern trail to Drežnica no one.

Also yesterday we didn't meet anyone. Otherwise at the shelter and summit. Full of hikers. Especially many foreigners. On descent via usual trail, on the lower meadow where goats graze and the mountain path goes, I noticed at the gate a goat whose head was stuck in the net and couldn't get back. God knows how long the poor thing struggled. I managed to free it and it was gone right away.

djimuzl, I felt sorry for her as she tried in all ways to free herself. Then I grabbed her by the horns as much as I could and pushed her head through the net. And she was freed from all trouble.

Did they remove the barrier? On Saturday they wrote that it was inactive. At the Kuhinja pasture.

And a year has gone by. We went. I knew the path was shaded all the way to the hut. In pleasant coolness. At the top we had to get dressed. We were the last on Koren's. Well known to us. When you cross both screes you know you'll be at the hut really quickly. One larger group went ahead of me on Koren's. Some known too. With a guide. Which is right. Really a lot of flowers. I was surprised by Turk's cap lilies all the way to the turnoff for Drežnica on descent. Then you're in the forest anyway. The hut is open. But they might remain without drinking water. I was more surprised by foreign hikers who went up the slabs in the afternoon. For Sunday I expected more visitors in July. The forecast was good. No afternoon storms. This time the weathermen didn't err.

Hello, since I'm going on this path for the first time, I'm interested in how the securing is from the junction of the Silva Korena path and the Western path to the Gomišček hut. On PZS maps it shows the entire path is secured, but when I watch videos I see that a large part of the ridge path and grassy areas is not secured. It worries me mainly because now in autumn it can be wet early in the morning. Thanks for the answer and best regards!

A bunch of delicate unsecured traverses over steep grass. I won't scare you, but that's how it is.
It is true that from the junction upwards it's actually better. The most delicate parts are below. And I absolutely advise against the "normal" exit which avoids Koren's path to the right. That's really psychotic.
