Last weekend we started a short hike to Limbarska Mountain a bit above Krašnja village. It was cloudy and accordingly not many visitors. The path was quite muddy, snow was only a trace. Still interesting to walk the new path.

Forecast unstable weather on May 1st deterred me from higher hill walking, so I went exploring Limbarska Mountain instead, which looked inviting from Sv. Miklavž above Sava some time ago; started a bit above Zalog village, but due to poor marking missed the marks at Pr Gorencu (watch out) and walked a good part on asphalt; due to clouds poorer views from the top; friendly locals advised continuing to nearby Golčaj and mainly because of that I didn't regret the new spot; really nice, excellently marked soft forest path nasmeh

; 50 minutes leisurely walk ending at Sv. Neža church or at the top by the monument with view down to the motorway at Blagovica; returned the same way, a bit below the very top of Limbarska Mountain; no regrets, though May 1st rain got me a bit on return; recommend for easy short tour, also kids;lp

Yesterday we climbed to Limbarska Mountain from the starting point at Gradiško Lake. The path through the forest, where there were many mushrooms, leads towards Vinje and Negastrn villages. In Vinje there is the stamp of Rokovnjaška Mountain Trail. After crossing meadows we took the well-marked trail into the forest towards the top of Limbarska Mountain. At the top it was initially sunny and windy, unfortunately due to later clouds we didn't see Kamnik Alps. The walked path is part of Rokovnjaška Trail.

Afternoon hike to Limbarska Mountain. Starting point Gradiško Lake. At the beginning of the path still quite a few broken branches from the last snowfall. Path suitable for family hikes. Nice greeting

First time on Limbarska Mountain from the direction of Blagovica - Golčaj - Limbarska Mountain. Quite pleasant and interesting path. nasmeh

on the meadows dandelions and small daisies are still blooming

part of KSA, above Kamniško sedlo the entire Mrzla gora peeks out

from the top Triglav is visible in the misty distance

The path to Limbarska Mountain has taken me several times via more visited routes, but this time I wanted to visit it via a more solitary path, especially since it was a nice Sunday when crowds of people are out and Styrian holidays have started. So we went to check the path from Gradiško Lake and let ourselves be surprised by what awaited us on the way. The path took a bit longer than stated (1.55 h), of course we quickly realized that our legs don't carry us as fast as before to meet the given times, but why worry about that, the day was incredibly beautiful and the whole day was at our disposal. So we took time for everything that interested us, for short chats with passers-by and thus also for photography. nasmeh

At the beginning of the path we couldn't go without photographing the swan on Gradiško Lake

and the little church in the village of Gradišče above the lake

after the first steep section, the path turned into a nice forest path

surprised we spot wildlife on this nice path (Ford Kugo) approaching us... I caught it only from behind

fern - the sweet rootstock was still frozen

this interesting pattern is the remnant of cut shrubbery or undergrowth

and a closer look reveals a nice little heart

and at the top of the rise a view opens onto KSA from Krvavec to Ojstrica

uf, Limbarska g. is not really close yet..., although the picture is zoomed in

the recognizable landmark of Limbarska gora is already visible

Kum in the distance and to the right Zasavska Sveta gora, if I'm not mistaken

and here we are.., people are not lacking

here there are a few less people, warm enough and nice

and we're all at the starting point - Gradiško jezero

After a long time, Sunday morning on Limbarska Mountain. First time from Gradiško Lake near Lukovica, quite interesting, built during highway construction, next time we'll do another 5 km loop around the lake. From there it's just under two hours ascent, despite occasional views not bad, we saw the chain of Kamnik Alps, from Zasavje hills Zasavska Holy Mountain, Kum and Čemšeniška Plateau and of course nearby Moravška hills, St. Nicholas and Cicelj. Hospitality in the inn, the lady likes little dogs, granddaughter bakes excellent apple strudel.

And my note on the new approach to Limbarska Mountain, which will soon join the other accesses by Tadej, which are all his work too. But this is a marked path that PD Moravče and Blagovica have traced. Before Limbarska Mountain, the European hiking path E6 joins it, which has a yellow circle in the middle. The path is quite long. It runs on asphalt, on gravel, on forest roads, on forest paths, on meadow. The only problem is crossing the meadow to the junction with the European path E6, because it's not well marked here. You just need to find the entrance from the meadow to the nice path that goes slightly downhill to the European path E6 and then they lead together to the top of Limbarska Mountain. Down we went from Limbarska Mountain to the west past the center of Peče village, across Pretrž village and Križate village. From Križate village we came again under the church of St. Michael and from the church back to Trato on the known path.

Pleasant little path through the forest.

Follows this village-I don't even know if these are the real house numbers of the village.

We have arrived in the upper part of the village Peče.

On the way back we turned left here into the center of Peče village.

We encounter a shared path with the European trail E6.

The European path has a yellow circle in the middle.

On Limbarska gora-leave all worries in the valley.

From Blagovica there is a pleasant path to Limbarska Mountain. Except for the noise heard from the highway.

From Blagovica a path leads under the motorway.

There is no sign here for the path to Limbarska gora.

After more than three years back on Limbarska gora. On Sunday from Blagovica to Golčaj and along the marked E6 path to Limbarska gora. Suitable path for Sunday morning after a longer Saturday tour. On Sunday there was some mud on one part of the path, and a lot of horse manure. Now it's already snowy. The inn is nicely arranged, the lady friendly, besides tea she treated us to pastry. Sometimes we went in March on the "po nagelj" hike, probably still happening? You could see towards Menina planina, Čemšeniška planina, and from Slivna to Cicelj.

Peak near Mlinše 2 hours, we haven't been there yet

It's a well-marked path. Therefore I don't provide descriptions. For help there are attached pictures and GPX track. Starting point is the seat of the fire brigade PGD Blagovica in Blagovica.
