Limbarska gora

After four years since Tadej and I were here, the Četrkovci hiking group of retirees from PD Škofja Loka also conquered Limbarska gora. Start was at Gradiško Lake. From there we somehow in three hours of course with three breaks reached the top of Limbarska gora. Unfortunately the hut was closed and we didn't arrange to open the church either. Quite quickly we headed down because it was blowing hard - it was very cold. Almost impossible without gloves. In between we went through Vinje village. Down we went on another path and finished the tour in Krašnja village. Descent to the stream is quite steep. Then under the road into the village. Near the church of St. Thomas we had the parked bus. We ordered a warm snack right at the place with the largest donuts in Slovenia. They prepared us an excellent warm snack and another donut for dessert - excellent. We'll come again. Of course we also bought donuts to take home.

Branko, very nice photo report of the trip to Limbarska gora.
Just a small remark on picture no. 14. Some claim that this is not a mountain hut, but a catering place? nasmeh

lino, thanks! I corrected it. Already happily making plans where I'll go next year. With Medvode retirees also in September to France-Provence. I like to go on some tour with PD Rašica Ljubljana. They have a super tour program. In April I'll definitely go with them to Karnijce-Moggessa di Qua -Moggessa di Là, in June to Konjski Špik/Monte Cavallo/Rosskofel-2204m - helmet and harness needed. I climb A and B and beginner C - no more. Now in December I only have all four endings. Today it's the Pondeljkovci's turn. It'll be fun! Best regards.
