The trail from Breg to Lisca is well-trodden, so plenty of enjoyment.

According to the weather forecast, we chose an easier peak of the extended SPP today and went as a family to explore Lisca mežikanje

.
Trails are marked exemplarily and the hospitality offering on top is excellent.

Visit to daughter at Planina pri Sevnici, I took the chance for a trip to Lisca. I went the new climbing path, daughter with husband the easier one. Ferrata / hope we won't discuss what is or isn't ferrata / is quite demanding at two spots and needs some arm strength. But easily bypass harder parts towards summit via "detours". In Tončkova hut we refueled, then steep descent to Cirje. Today no Šmarna gora post anyway nasmeh

Kite flyers on top? Haven't seen that in ages! Mostly just paragliders anyway. Nice.

The easy path Cirje - Lisca and back is officially closed (the climbing one is ok and inviting) although no one follows the closure. The reason for the closure is a rockfall and some rocks are hanging dangerously above the path. When they are supposed to fix this is unknown to me.

That rock is no obstacle, since it's not on the trail at all. They could just remove the sign. We also went past here last time.

The so-called "Pastirčkova pot" is closed.
Possible detour past the church of St. Jošt, which is not much longer.
So, up the climbing path, down past Jošt. wink

No problem that rock right by the path, the problem is two slightly smaller rocks at the top, where they all broke loose. Up there they are held only by a small tree, which is quite on the edge. And if you're just below at that moment....?
Well, caution won't hurt!

Again the path took me to Kozjansko to my daughter's in Planinska vas. After an abundant lunch and short rest I convinced them to go to Lisca. With three grandchildren, daughter and son-in-law we went up. The older granddaughter Tinkara / Tinky/ couldn't be convinced. I went via ferrata, others via pastirčkova. Rock dry in the afternoon, so no major problems. For me the hardest passage is still right after the top, but you can go around on the left to avoid that part.

Still need to go home, the sun is already setting

After yesterday's morning Šmarna gora, again to Kozjansko, since daughter turned 40, her daughter is 18 today. Before the party I climbed Lisca. Around Planina pri Sevnici there are quite a few picturesque villages, and nice weather too.

Again to Lisca, this time no climbing, nicely along pastirčkova. In the morning of course to Šmarna gora. Weather cloudy and it even thundered. Today we barely convinced Tinkara to come along, Tilna of course not. In Planinska vas as always nice.

Yesterday just before rain to Lisca. Up via ferrata for a beer and down pastirčkova.

Again the path took me to those parts. In the morning first to Šmarna gora, then to Lisca. Up the climbing path, down the Pastirčkova path. I had enough time before meeting my daughter in Planinska vas to also go to St. Križ and the castle at Planina pri Sevnici. And at the end to Planinska vas.

Since there was too little snow in Sevnica I went to check the conditions on Lisca. The path over Jošt was already trodden a bit after 8am, over the rocks I made the trail myself. Snow somewhere even over the knees. Nice Saturday morning and for a change a bit less crowded than usual. velik nasmeh

From Krakovec to the top I took 1h17min.

Over Lisca to Planina pri Sevnici to my daughter's for lunch. Last year in July I was last on Lisca. I was pleasantly surprised today. Everything from the road, parking, signs, path, cables, new benches, hut surroundings, everything as you could say "like new". Really nicely maintained.
