With daughter and son-in-law today to Lisca. Starting point Krakovo at the wine cellar and vertically up to Lisca. Weather held out, just a few drops of rain we got. Lots of hikers. In the morning I was also at Šmarna gora.

To Lisca from Cerje via short via ferrata. Path is OK, protections withstood winter without damage, so climbing is really a pleasure.
All the time paragliders circling overhead, lots of them today.
Excellent dumplings at the hut.
Back to start via Pastirčkova.

The last jump in the ferrata is quite difficult.

Krakovo, at the wine cellar vertically to Lisca. Today besides son-in-law and daughter also Tinkara/granddaughter/ and her boyfriend Vid joined. Morning of course Šmarna gora. As befits holidays also to Planina for ham and all that goes with it. Weather sunny, cloudless, warm, path without features.

A promise made is a debt fulfilled. I promised Metod that when I visit daughter again at Planina pri Sevnici we climb Lisca first. Up the climbing path, then pancakes and imperial Prague dumplings down via Pastirčkova. Ground was a bit damp and had to watch not to slip. After short visit at our Špela we jumped to Sv. Križ and checked the castle at Planina pri Sevnica. Metod hasn't been around here yet, but he liked it.

The hut on Lisca is closed due to renovation. Today it was possible to get something (even hot) for a bite in the mobile kitchen.

Again across Lisca to Planinska vas.
Climbing path is closed, and quite wet too, as it was still drizzling a bit.
Up via Skalce, down via Pastirčkovo. Hut not renovated yet.
At Špela pleasant again, as we haven't seen each other for long.

Yesterday on Lisca via a slightly longer variant. Now that pensioners have free public transport, time to go to the hills like before - by train!
I drove to Zidani most, then Gašperjeva koča - Veliko Kozje - Lovrenc - Lisca - Razbor - Breg (railway station).

The path starts on asphalt past construction sites on the railway line, but that's soon behind me.
From Gašperjeva koča onwards (hut closed, but drinking water available) the path climbs to Veliko Kozje. The steepness doesn't let up all the way to the saddle under the summit. It almost misled me here and I would have soon descended back to Radeče. I found the path to Lovrenc, which gently descends all the way and is well marked. Here and there nice views open up on the right to Kum and the Sava basin, otherwise through the forest.
Meadows around Lovrenc are unmown and fenced. I don't know, perhaps because of gentian patches, which have of course already finished blooming.
To Lisca just an hour's walk. Met no one.
Tončkov dom on Lisca open again (except Monday). Interior renovated, outside mostly the same.
Returned via Razbor (in 2005 declared the nicest arranged mountaineering village). They also host an addicts' commune, but as it seems they live in harmony.
Breg railway station was my goal. Train to Zidani most and further runs in the afternoon almost every hour.
Over 20 km and 8 hours walking.

Hello. For somewhat more experienced peak connoisseurs I have one question. Last time with very clear views my gaze was carried towards Trdinov vrh. A bit to the right a quite high peak was hiding in the distance, which is otherwise rarely seen. After checking Google Maps I assume it's the Croatian Velebit. Is it possible to see Velebit from Lisca? Unfortunately no picture for better idea.

Today on Lisca. Start from Krakovec, past Sv. Jošt to Lisca. Return along Pastirčkova path to Krakovo. Weather sunny, on the summit some snow spots, nice views. Lots of people.

After via ferrata to Lisca, then to Planinsko vas to the daughter for ham and piglets.
On via ferrata almost no wind, on top it's quite windy.

Within one month already second time to Lisca. This time with DU Britof -Predoslje. Less skinny went along Pastirčkova pot, where I haven't been before. Fatter ones went to Lisca via Ješivec and did much longer route. All met at top of Lisca. Even managed gasilska which usually not.
