Littering in the mountains and cleaning

"Plastic" is common name for very very many different chemical substances which differ greatly in many properties including durability.
This doesn't endorse plastic at all (let alone dumping trash in natural environment), but it must be clear that many modern plastics as waste material are less harmful to environment than e.g. paper.

Lately I've got more messages that dumping trash in nature has increased strongly.

Let's keep nature clean and carry trash to the valley where we put it in suitable container.

I brag a lot abroad about how Slovenia is beautiful and clean and then I come home and am shocked how much trash there is everywhere. eek It's no longer clean. It would be time again for a Clean Slovenia action.

I always take something home with me, it doesn't matter if it's bottles, cans, old Pingo packages or just a candy wrapper. If everyone just cleaned up after themselves...nasmeh

I think hikers in the mountains are not a problem since the mountains are clean. The problem is down in the lowlands, forests, paths where cyclists, motorbikers, foresters and farmers, etc. come.

Even in the mountains you can find something; last fall when I went alone via Šibal to Triglav from Vrata I was quite sad about all the things I had to pick up along the path.

Littering has really increased a lot, and I'm not just talking about thrown-away tissues jezen. Examples are these fresh remnants of some facade work, dumped right on the access path next to Sava near Nemška cesta in Ljubljana.

Damn, that pisses me off like this. Here you don't know who did it, but when you say you crossed the municipality, then avalanche of criticismmrk pogled! Who did the bigger damage here?

Actually it's really interesting. On every post about high mountains or crossing municipalities or primoz, immediately avalanche of criticism, but with trash almost silence. Maybe there's a correlation between packi and ... velik nasmeh

Maybe the avalanche of criticism isn't because here really no one advocates dumping trash...
And it can't be addressed to the one who did it - unlike posts about other questionable actions where "authors" and advocates are known.

But you never know, maybe such one turns up. And the usual wiseacres will chime in right away nasmeh

Hasn't anyone noticed yet where worn-out fixed ropes, direction signs, poles for signs twisted pitons land...?
Usually under the path!
When climbing Triglav, look a bit left and right under the path. You'll have something to see. Two years ago there was plenty. I doubt they cleaned it this year.
With trash on the upper pictures usually also found are things that can serve as proof of ownership of the dumped (newspapers with addresses, bills, envelopes, business cards, tachometer prints etc.) We've already found packi who dumped waste. Unfortunately no sanctions.

In the last year or two I've noticed a significant increase in littering in nature. Some cases are really unbelievable, like this one on the photos jezen.

Some quasi car mechanic slob dumped his crap on a remote forest road not far from the French Chapel above Glinek. Location ... towards the end of the cart track, coordinates ~ 45.9713092N, 14.5906781E

Bagi, from a quick glance at the pile you can see there are no copper cables or stainless drum anywhere, but PVC scraps without value that nobody buys.
So car mechanic is ruled out, only sole trader copper collectors and other precious metals remain in play.

In such bigger cases please report it to your (inter)municipal inspectorate.
