Ljubljana Castle

Today is a day for a view over our mountainous country.
We went straight to Ljubljana Castle and climbed the stairs to the castle walls and lo and behold. Telescope available for free. We made full use of it and admired the mountains from Kepa all the way to Menina. It really brings all the details close to the eyes that one wants to see. Only the tops of the slightly snow-covered KSA were partly obscured by clouds.

Though we only went to Ljubljana Castle,
we honestly felt today's wind chill.
KSA peaks shone with new snow,
views of them warmed us instead of that. nasmeh

Yesterday during lunch, access to the castle was disabled mrk pogled

Yesterday at the Castle. Went from old Ljubljana, up via Reber from Old Market, path ok. Down via blue path towards Roška, where there are quite a few fallen trees on the path but can manage by detouring at least to the road bend from Streliška where macadam from Dolenjska and Roška junction joins from right (that one closed, fallen trees). I then go left and straight down the road to Streliška.

This afternoon by bike to Ljubljana Castle. It's nice there, only every other door has a cashier.

Zoki said he'd light the lights, so I went by bike to the castle to check. Quite a few of us gathered, and we waited. With more than half an hour delay we finally saw it.

Viharnik, you had incredible luck to get away with just a warning. Maybe the warden thought you were illiterate and you got away without a fine. Riding in the inner castle area is strictly prohibited. Even Tinky documented a bicycle of some offender in picture 5. Regards
