This can't be denied. The mayor really pulled out all the stops and took care of the citizens and tourists, no doubt. That a lot is really happening in cultural, entertainment and culinary fields, Tinky alone documents it richly with photos. It's really a privilege to be a Ljubljanan (so no one stumbles over slang by accident, I have to write as orthography dictates).

I see that some haven't heard of democracy and the right to freedom of speech yet. Obviously it's a legacy of history when some dictated and ordered what you can say and what not. And some have kept that strong notorious and nostalgic desire for commanding. Tinki and Sorči, I strongly feel you're part of that slightly older generation and history.

Ljubljana folks are nice people. The worst are those who come crowding to us every day and complain about parking, but on forums spit on the capital and those who there in Ljubljana (government) write paragraphs. Although among the latter there is practically no citizens but all stuck-on provincials.
ales50 - why should our mayor take care of your parking? As if we have guaranteed free parking whenever we come anywhere in Slovenia, probably not even in your place

Lingo nowhere are there free parking spots anymore, just December is a month when it's harder to get free parking in Ljubljana center, so park at the main station and go on foot, it's peaceful, not far to center just 10 min walk.
