beautiful isn't it? was there last year and the year before on all variants, didn't post neither here nor to known ones from Italy because TNP doesn't like crowds in this place and so it stays quiet there only those who know and respect the solitary nature go.

Nice, ločanka, I'm still waiting to fulfill that wish (only to the hunting hut, not further) ...
Every year when vacationing in Kranjska Gora, that wish reminds me ... This year I almost fulfilled it, but due to certain problems we rather went only to the pools and there found the path junction. It was also nice and solitary in that corner nasmeh

alessio, you're right. When we reached the top of Ciprnik, we immediately felt the tourism. The buzzing of the drone right over the summit was something you don't expect and quite annoying.

georgia, fulfill your wish as soon as possible, it's nice also just along the path by Pišnica.

It's really nice and solitary there, a few years ago I was there too:

@ločanka: I bet they were Italians! I haven't seen a drone in our hills yet, in theirs I've had to listen to it several times already.

Oh, I've had to put up with that annoying "mosquito" (drone) several times in our mountains, I clearly remember last summer on the path from Ledvice to Prehodavci, right in the idyll and in the middle of TNP ... zavijanje z očmi

This year whenever I was in Italian mountains, the drone was only on the beach of Rabelj Lake, where it's equally annoying and inappropriate, of course. Some Italian retirees had it ... eek

In the TNP area drone use is possible only with appropriate permission. I very much doubt that all fans of these hornets have it.

I've also felt this nuisance several times.
Once at Kriški podi at sunset, once on Kofce and this year at Vodnikov dom. But the caretakers' dog bit the drone on landing and I think destroyed it.velik nasmeh Then there was peace. Most of us applauded.

After three years again in the solitary world of Mala Pišnica, which with its pristine nature, silence and beauty never disappoints. Path to hunting hut is well traceable if you find the start, but higher due to lots of fallen trees loses twice. Newly fallen trees under Grlo saddle provided real obstacle course velik nasmeh If first time here, would have trouble finding right path, but it was BP, ignoring escaped phone, close encounter with fat chamois and 2x soaked shoe, plus excellent guide dog with me nasmeh
From Grlo continued to Vratca, from where descended to Vršič, where Nessy sheep a bit aside watched what's going on and where so many dots from (probably they were a bit fouž velik nasmeh). After break in nice shade descended to Tonkina koča, where taxi waited. Real tour for the soul nasmeh

Nice, but didn't go to Macesen? Anyway this is the only "acceptable" tour for me to tourist-besieged Slemenova špica and Mojstrovkavelik nasmeh

No, because I don't know where it is zmeden But I'd gladly find it. Can you give a little hint about the location? Supposed to be somewhere above Grlo - Vratca path, not even in Pišnica itself. Is that true?
Can also on ZS mežikanje

How far is it to that larch from the upper pools?

I am often in the Pišnica valley but I usually just bathe and sunbathe in the valley with the other nudists

The larch is a bit below the ridge, so it's not very close.

jbs: is the path from the hunting hut, when it goes back into the forest, to the junction with the path from the gorge, somewhat passable? I was there 5 years ago and despite quite a few fallen trees, I had no problems - last year (or the year before) an acquaintance told me that after the new windthrow everything is down and he turned back. Thanks for the information. lp

@velocy... yeah, the windthrow really caused quite some devastation in that part below Macesen. A few fallen trees are right after the hunting hut in the forest, but those are no problem to bypass. Higher up, when you get above the "skok", then in one section it's really all fallen. But although the windthrow is extensive and very dense, it's sharply limited, which means it can be bypassed. Years ago, when I went through the windthrow for the first time, I also made the mistake of starting to climb over the fallen trees, which I managed, but it was real torture. Next time I tried to bypass the windthrow and found that it can be nicely bypassed on the right. In short, when you get to the viewpoint, you must not go into the windthrow and start climbing over the trees, but you have to stay more to the right and bypass the windthrow. Somehow a forest "gully" or small valley leads, which runs right next to the windthrow. In this case you practically don't need to climb over almost any tree. Of course orientation is demanding, because there is no path in this part, so it's key that you know where you need to get. Anyway, now the approximate course of the path is also marked on OSM maps, which makes orientation much easier. According to the course of the path on OSM maps you have to stay somehow 50m more to the right (see picture).
