Yesterday I headed to this imposing (from below) mountain. Start at Savica, on the way to Komarča I saw the waterfall, lots of water, to the Seven Lakes nothing special on the path, only when the terrain flattens at Double Lake the path is very muddy - consequence of the weather. At the hut I drank coffee and over Štapce to Mala Tičarica. Views, as befits a nice sunny morning after rain, were really fantastic. And the whole "world" on the other side of the valley is something special, so hidden, lonely, pristine!!! On the "little one" I could sit the whole day, but went to Velika Tičarica too. I didn't turn left on the path at the right spot, so got a bit lost, the path itself is no cat's cough, especially on descent, very steep and crumbly up top. Wanted to do the whole ridge, but knees sadly don't allow in one day, so only Rušnata glava left, again inattentive and didn't find the marked turnoff. Already two blunders, which unfortunately I didn't take seriously, cost me some time later. Continued to planina Ovčarija and on to planina Viševnik, there at Bregar shelter I drank beer (what else ). Just with me arrived a solid group of Spaniards and some Germans, mainly I was the only "janez", so chatted nicely with the hutkeeper. Went toward Black Lake, but when the devil has young he has many, third blunder followed - went wrong way to Pršivec. Despite the map and suspicious direction I "just plowed", till reached the said peak and more calmly checked the map, of course so pissed (couldn't even swear ) rushed back (no choice), but time gone wrong! Back to the shelter for beer, where the keeper comforted me that I am not the only one , then finally on the right but very muddy path back to Komarča and home. Weather just right, sun showed when needed, occasionally behind clouds, no "roasting".
