Mala Tičarica

Yesterday's hike was an ascent to 8 peaks higher than 2000m. Start at pl.Blato and past pl.Jezero and Dednaga polja to Prvi Vogel, from there to the middle one and then to the last one. Descent to Vratca and further to both Zelnarici, Kopica and to both Ticarici. Descent via pl. Ovcarija to pl. Visevnik, pl. Jezero and back to starting point. Views wonderful, wind crazy at times as it gusted around 100 km/h

Already the first weekend of the month I wrote that in the morning (7.15) no collector at entrance. On return there was municipal warden by shack waving hand, I greeted him nicely back (waved hand) and drove off calmly velik nasmeh

Today past the pastures at Jezeru, Viševnik and Ovčarija to the top of Mala Tičarica. Then we men also climbed to Velika Tičarica, after that all together descended pathlessly to the marked path Za Kopico.
We made a nice family trip. nasmeh

Surprisingly, there weren't many hikers on this path. zavijanje z očmi

Nothing posted here for a long time... about time something is posted velik nasmeh

On Saturday my little one and I set off early from Blato towards pl. Jezero and on to Dedno polje and pl. Ovčarije, where we turned towards Štapce. At 9am we stand on Velika Tičarica, reaching it without issues despite steepness in last part. Quick photos, then annoying flying ants chase us from summit.
We descend carefully, then visit Mala Tičarica too, which is more visited than bigger neighbor. But here also pesky flying ants, so we hurry to hut. On path in narrowest part through bushes, just before descent over Štapce, cows block us, which I chase away with loud calling and make path passable again.
At Dvojno jezero we join queue to hut, greet staff and mountain police and refresh. In increasing heat we go over Prode to Ovčarija, leave queue and head to pl. Viševnik.
Here we rest a bit, as heat tires us. Descent ahead, mostly in shade, so we can breathe normally. At car around 3pm. Despite heat we spent another wonderful day in my beloved Julijci.

Yesterday from hut at Savica, over Komarča and Štapce to top of Mala Tičarica. Path over Komarča is really well arranged, of course not for those who don't like abyss on one side. Path onward to summit nice, no special features, just some fallen trees in forest at Črno jezero. No snow on path, but some if someone wants to play.

Given situation, met no one from start over Komarča to hut at Triglav Lakes, nor on descent, around hut and lakes some hikers milling about, also on summit. When conditions normal and thus many visitors over Komarča, helmet obligatory.

Took few photos, phone is old, so better enjoyed peace and views, some beautiful autumn moments in Bohinj mountains caught on camera.

Today on Mala Tičarica from the end of the road at Vogar. Here and there snow patches, some small fallen trees, but nicely passable. The ascent itself calls for maintenance, as the pegs are under bushes.
But I don't get why the path to Komarča is "difficult", as those few pegs to Mala Tičarica and the exposed part just below the summit are much less pleasant (marked as an easy path), than the path over Komarča, which is almost fully covered with cables.

Yesterday to Mala Tičarica from the end of the road at Vogar. After the asphalt ends, we drove another approximately 10 minutes on gravel. Road well maintained, four large "pits" for drainage on the path. At the starting point two cars.

The initial part of the path is completely freshly widened due to forestry work. It smells of spruce wood. The bark beetle has done its work here, huge number of dried spruces, some also broken across the path and need to be climbed over.

At Planina Viševnik they are grazing, cows merrily ringing bells. The keeper of Bregar's shelter has steady work with serving.

Further along the marked path to Planina Ovčarija, which is abandoned. Only a few huts on it.
Then past Štapc to the summit. Edelweiss already starting to bloom. Views reached far.

Above Štapc and below the summit some short exposed spots that require caution. Quite windy on top, so we quickly descended to shelter. Initially quite sunny, then it started drizzling, but we walked the entire path back dry too. With the car then to the parking lot by the hut at Vogar, where we got excellent goulash.

First raindrops only before the barrier for the toll in Stara Fužina. Happy and safe to everyone. nasmeh

Yesterday 10.08.2021 we set out on this path. We drove to P Blato. At 5:30 a.m. almost freezing. We continued towards Planina pri Jezeru, Dedno polje and further towards Sedmeri. At the junction for Štapce we headed towards M. Tičarica. Nice weather, not too hot, light wind. Continued to Velika Tičarica, Kopica, Mala Zelnarica and even Velika. Descended towards Vratca and past Kopica to Dedno polje, Planina pri Jezeru and Blato parking, which was full in the afternoon at 17:00 all the way to the Vogar turnoff. Views from the path were beautiful, flowers more than we had ever seen (edelweiss, gentians, Triglav rose, etc.). We spent a really nice day above the 2000ers.

Hut at Planina pri Jezeru closing today, at Triglav Lakes already closed. mežikanje
