Thanks, keber, my teeth started rusting or rather the tips of the teeth and I always dry them, but it's true I don't wipe them at all. I directly put them to dry.

@Redbull, I did that before yesterday's snowfall. I went on Saturday. The post is on page 1. There was no big danger then. Today I wouldn't dare do the same trip. Today I went to Dovška Baba, which is relatively safe. Wait a bit until the snow settles, then go up and write how it went mežikanje

I planned to go to the Bohinj area. But something got stuck in the morning and the plan failed. Mid-morning I finally drove to Pokljuka. Straight to Viševnik, I have to go somewhere.
Just below the Viševnik summit a primrose lay on the path. In the rock above the path an empty stem stuck out from the crack. It was too high for a child, it was an adult. Probably curious about the flower's scent.
From Viševnik I look at the lower Bohinj mountains, the whole row of peaks was covered with fog. I smile, above Pokljuka warm sun. It carries me further to Mali Draški vrh. I sit long on the lonely summit, observing the surroundings and the bustle on Viševnik. From Srenjski pass I continue to Lipanca-Blejska koča. From the main path I turn left to Mrežce. At the summit just as I prepare to eat something, light drizzle starts. It won't be much, the sun is shining. The snack from the backpack is always so good, I don't skip it. The drizzle soon stops, I slowly continue to Blejska koča. A little above the hut I turn right towards Rudno polje. On a soft path I walk through the vast Pokljuka spruce forests to Rudno polje.
On the pasture by the cableway they were just bringing livestock to pasture. The cattle happily jumped and ran when it felt all that freedom.

Irina thanks for positive thumbs up and likewise to all others. If they have already installed these thumbs for us, it is really nicer if there are more like these than those "pointing down" mežikanje

Jovan. I've noticed those jackdaws of yours with rings many times. It has happened that in a group of 5 jackdaws only one had no ring. I'm also curious why ornithologists mark them..

No peculiarities for VDV. Snow is settled, frozen in the morning, ice balls can form during the day, footpath tracked directly to the top, dog tracks too. Only forest crossing to Pl. Konjščica unpleasant, passable but carefully. One hiker already slipped a bit there. Over Srenjski preval advise against, as whole masses of broken snow from MDV are moving and will fall on Jezerca anytime. There best stay a bit higher in Ablanca slopes.

This weekend I plan a circular tour namely from Uskovnica to V. Draški vrh then to M. Draški vrh and Viševnik and descent to Uskovnica. Anyone been recently in this area and what are the conditions... still snow? Thanks and best nasmeh

I was on Viševnik last week. The path is completely without peculiarities; when descending to the saddle between V and MDV there is still quite some snow visible. The Studorski pass between Ablanca and VDV and Jezerca are also still snowy. I think the path should not be anything extra, except sinking into snow and caution against slipping.

Bandzo, thanks for the info on conditions. So the path to Viševnik is o.k.... but on the steep part between M and V Draški vrh it might be "annoying"...
Definitely without extra caution in these conditions it won't do. Thanks and Lp nasmeh

Today with granddaughter via Kačji rob to Mali Draški vrh, return via Viševnik on southern path to Rudno polje. Weather changeable, some clouds, sun and fog constantly shifting over peaks. On MDV we were alone, Viševnik fully crowded. Path very muddy from yesterday evening rain, wet grass, esp. on Kačji rob, wet to knees in the morning.
And for those who may not know. From Bled the road to Pokljuka is closed, detour arranged towards Bohinj over Gorjuše to Mrzli studenec. The closure should not apply on weekends.
