A few weeks ago I started reading news about the membership fee on these pages. Before I read everything the topic was - I don't know why - removed from the portal. Please provide an explanation, because the payment for 2014 is approaching.

When I wrote this, I entered the appropriate data on the pzs pages in the "check your pzs membership" section and found out they don't have me in the register at all, even though I've been a pzs member for over two decades. Can someone please explain this?!

First check in your home PD.
In case you haven't filled out the Membership Statement or your home PD hasn't entered it into e-membership, you can't be in the PZS membership register either.
Since 01.01.2014 membership in PD or PZS is conditional on a signed and entered Membership Statement in e-membership.

Hello herman8,

we haven't removed any membership fee topics from the portal. Maybe you were reading one of the topics below.

After more than two decades of membership in the mountaineering organization they simply deleted you from the members list.
Now you have to fill out the accession statement that you want to be a member of Bojan Rotovnik's Alpine Association.
Goodbye sanity.

Julius, I won't be too smart, but I understood the whole thing like it used to be ABC tolling or vehicle tracking. That's how it should work now too, monitoring mountain visits, capacity occupancy, time mountaineers spend in huts, finding last location of missing persons, providing info on overcrowding of various destinations (e.g. Triglav)...etc, in short it's simple information tracking in the informatics age. It's not about deletion from the register, but re-entry of existing members (there are huge numbers of members on paper, actual ones too, now we'll see who is and who isn't) and issuing a card which a certain reader can read and then forward info to the database in the center. zavijanje z očmi

If your prediction holds at least 10% then Orwell has risen from the dead at PZS.
According to you "big brother Rotovnik" will watch us at every step in the mountains.
Since I'm not as professionally equipped as you please explain how they will carry out all that written control?
Does the new membership card besides the code that needs a reader have a hidden transmitter that will send data to Rotovnik's association where I am, how many of us there are, how long we stayed in some hut, how many visitors are currently on Triglav and last but not least where the missing are???
NSA would pay dearly for this technology, because it obviously hides the highest technology for tracking information in the informatics age.
Given that I haven't succeeded in paying a bill with a bank card in any mountain hut, which also depends on "a certain reader", I'm really terribly interested how they will install them at all points listed in your note?'
Blessed are those who believe everything superiors say.

Gentlemen who pontificate under anonymous names; without a completed and signed Accession Statement you cannot be members of any PD and consequently PZS. Until the Accession Statement is entered into the electronic membership register "Naveza", your paid fee and sticker on the membership card don't help you at all.

You can check PZS membership on their website: MEMBERSHIP, Check your PZS membership.

Existing blue-covered membership cards are being withdrawn from use. Certain membership categories already got pre-printed cards last year, next categories will get them this year and next.

Dear Mr. Janez Seliškar.
Your writing holds until the moment when it comes to new members upon first fee payment and entry into PD.
According to PZS statute PZS members are PDs and not individuals. Since PDs are legal entities such deletion of membership by PZS is an outrageous act.
Besides PD membership I'm member of some other associations. For all others the data I gave them decades ago suffice. No one was so rude to demand after decades that I rewrite the accession statement. I guarantee I would submit resignation there too as in PD and go to better ones.
Printing new cards with pre-printed personal data is wastefulness in these crisis times. (old stocks at PD and PZS to trash)
Well let's end this pontificating. PZS do what it wants. Membership decline will show all quality and sense of coercion.
Insiders say that despite criticisms they haven't improved insurance conditions even by mm.
Sadly here too applies the known part of the known "law" that things always go from bad to worse.

Membership conditions apply to all members, regardless of how many years we were already members of a certain PD before the introduction of e-membership.

Dear my PD IMP president.
Do you really not want to understand that person XY joined e.g. PD IMP twenty and more years ago. Her/his will to be member of PD IMP she confirmed every year with payment of PD IMP fee.
And if today you as PD IMP president demand from this person to fill accession statement, something is really badly wrong, because that act means someone simply deleted this person from PD IMP membership.
Where in God's name does this happen elsewhere???
p.s. If I summarize "smatjaz", soon they will implant chips in us to register everything that interests them at the moment.

With issuing new PZS membership cards it's of course a good deal that someone from PZS arranged for his friend. He will print tens of thousands and pocket fat fee. This year I already paid the fee, next year probably no more in Slovenia. I also read all about insurance and found out that PZS nicely cheats us, because in case of accident abroad you have to pay everything upfront yourself, and if you get anything from insurer later is big question. Thanks to all on these pages who sent me all insurance data.

Julius, I'm only talking about the procedure when paying the membership fee.
About the meaningfulness of all these procedures better don't ask me.

Janez good morning.
We are quite good, since we quickly figured out that we know how the procedure runs. But about the meaningfulness of these procedures also.
Nice regards, many beautiful experiences and safe step in 2014.

Julius, as I already mentioned I won't be too smart, just forward what I followed from conversations and what was written: here it's not about deleting membership, but about extension and permission to issue a new trackable card, whose purpose won't be to track someone at every step and which bush they shit undermežikanje, but when you use it for example in the hut at Lake Bohinj, where you log route 7j through Komarča, but you won't arrive there, you log at Komna, so rescuers don't comb the entire Upper Bohinj Mountains, but will see from the center that you "messed up" at Komna and stop the search action before it starts. Even "almost" every mountaineer "messes up" at Kredarica or Planika when going to daddy, what's hard then to figure out approximately how many are up there and throw into media info that the mountain is overcrowded and recommend choosing another destination, of course the decision will still be yours at the end, whether you go up in the crowd or not, you will get whether there is a crowd or not in this case also if you call the center and ask what the occupancy of the destination is because you intend to go there. But you can still avoid all mountain huts, sleep in nature, eat your own food and drink, then there's no hero who will know where you actually are, right? nasmeh And something else to think about: I presume that by 2015 we will all have to return old pink driving licenses by law and get new ones in the form of ID or health card and you won't have any membership expire and deletion in the "drivers club" with that, but just a new and more trackable way of verifying your data and marks. PS even revocation of driving license is no longer on the license but only in the computer now. For this reason I see nothing bad in it just less bureaucracy and paper, and easier traceability and data processing (until now still all old fashioned by hand from the book of stamped peaks and huts), and even larger amount of collected data intended mainly for statistics and improving certain conditions or offers. Currently occupancy of capacities can still only be found out via phone call to the hut, imagine the keeper of Kredarica with phone in hand on Friday before a nice weekend answering every few seconds calls from 1000 mountaineers wishing to visit Triglav how occupied they are. Well to me the idea with card and digital info seems better. With readers they are supposed to equip huts, since most of them use internet anyway. Why can't you use payment card, just once look at the price list of services of companies offering that service or percentages they take. Here I also resist it in my field, but with me anyone can say: card or I go elsewhere, but say that at Kredarica or Planika and go - where to? And I agree it should stay that way, even though I don't know how long. Better would be some ATM along the mountain path velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh. Please don't take these words as criticism of someone's thinking, but thinking about what good and bad this brings us, in the end we will add all pluses and all minuses, and find out if this is another old fart that's completely "off" or something useful. And safe step all together in 2014 and that we never need to be tracked or searched nasmeh

And one more "brilliant" idea came to me about cards and money, when or if once the card reader system is established, PZS could have its own internal account on which a mountaineer loads credit which he then uses in mountain huts without various interests and carrying cash. At year end simply extend membership from the remainder, transfer to next year or simply return to own bank account. Maybe PZS could think about it a bit. Now I'm exaggerating a bit, right? That would already be science fiction!!!velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh Addition: of course free use for members, since we carry quite some "coins" up to the mountains.

Congratulations on a really nice essay from the field of science fiction.
I'm really interested if some science fiction writer dictated the above to you, or if it all grew on your veggie patch.
If all writing is your original work, I'm interested where you calculated in 2/3 of mountain visitors who never stamp anywhere. If not, you only have exactly 33.333% right. Thus your hard work collapses down that slope from Kredarica down which they let off, excuse the expression, "shit from the ass".
I suggest you volunteer for chip implantation. Our dog and cat already have it. So PZS overtook on the right at the vet.
I wish you plenty more such and similar ideas. Let the motto be "Your idea, our gasoline".
Greetings sincerely.

I hope they won't mount some router on Triglav for switching to computers. They say in some Freemason sect they already implanted subcutaneous chips to their members to track them on their path for their own safety. I think modern technology is more than too much, as it cripples and chases the human mind and spiritual roots of humanity. Man in the future can only be happy if he manages to escape this system of human society and functioning, to find his island of peace and spiritual freshness.

Julius, don't mind, because I was a bit mocking the happenings around cards, but I see you took it completely seriously, despite everything I expected you to get that my writing is a parody on PZS happenings, which the 8 smileys in the upper post partly show. I apologize and didn't mean to offend you. You know although truth isn't far from my writing, the question of all this is just in what time period and order they will really do it, whether next year or in 10 years, as far as I'm concerned even in 100 years, I won't be mad if they let our mountaineering world in peace a bit longer. Therefore I join Viharnik's opinion that a trip to the mountains is still the only place where I can escape modern technology and one of the rare places where I find peace and can be alone with myself, very happy that phone doesn't reach and the only cry of technology with which I'm best friends together with classic card is GPS, on which I've gotten very used, maybe too much. With experiences I've gathered over all these years even a chip in the ear won't help me if accident happens, even if they find me immediately, which I hope won't happen. In short beauty of mountains is music for my soul and escape from euphoria and commercialization of everything around us and it's a world into which when you step you don't need to make "click" in the head, but it happens completely automatically!jezik

Late autumn 2012 we were trekking in Nepal. On a pass at about 5000m altitude strong altitude sickness hit my friend A.K. (A+ membership). He was taken to the valley by helicopter. For that the Nepalese issued him a bill over 5000€.
Since he didn't have that much money with him he called the president of the PD where he paid membership. After the completed circle of conversations:
PD member - PD president
PD president - PZS
PZS - ins. Wst.
and vice versa, they nicely told him to settle the bills, do eventual treatment and pay it. Upon return report to PZS, there he gets the proper form, fill it, give it to PD for signature and then take it with bills to PZS.
As an obedient Slovene after return first repaid debt to friends who lent him € for bills, then continued the procedure as ordered.
After about a month shock followed. Ins. Ws. notified him the claim is unjustified...
Followed calvary: PD member - PD - PZS - insurance. To shorten.
After more than three months and threats with lawsuit, insurance refunded costs.
Attention!
Not in full!!!!!!
For more report to ZS and we can agree to document the whole thing.
Nice regards.
