Where in Slovenia is the most beautiful for you? My boyfriend and I were on Sunday at Krn Lakes and it was really nice for us. Is there something similar somewhere else, not necessarily a lake? It would be nice too if there wasn't too big a crowd, which was the only thing that bothered us at the lake. Thanks for the answers, Špela.

I don't agree with this about Hanzova. There are many other, more picturesque paths...

If you liked it at Krn Lakes, which have an easy ascent to them, only there were too many people, then it's a question if somewhat more demanding paths à la Hanzova would suit you... Go to Veliki Draški vrh from Pokljuka and return via Viševnik to the starting point. Nice tour - trip, though I don't guarantee you'll be alone. For me one of the nicest and not too hard paths to Špik hude police (Cima di Terra Rossa), starting point from planina Pecol, but you'll need to go to the other side of the border to Italy. You won't regret it!

To the Blejska hut and then along the circular path to Mrežce, Lipanco, Brdo,.. and back to the starting point. A nice tour is also to Soriška planina and then to Možica and along the Rapallo border via Lajnar, Dravh and back to the starting point. Otherwise, I recommend a book and a good map. But to answer the question "where is the most beautiful for you". Home is the most beautiful. Mojca

Wonderful tour from the hut at the Soča source to the beautiful Planina Zapotok (where there is no lack of cold clean water) and on to Bavški Grintovec. In the last part of the path you can choose between demanding (suitable for ascent) and easier path. Great view, especially to Trenta. Otherwise long path but without crowds. Recommend.

Very nice path also from Planina v Lazu to Lazovski preval and then to Mišeljski preval. From here one can go to Velem polje or to Planina Krstenica. From Planina v Lazu to Krstenica, except for marmots, on that nice summer day I didn't meet a living soul. Good luck!

Stane, which Mokrička is that? Do you mean perhaps Mokrica in the Kamniških?

Whichever tour you choose, as long as you have a good mood in your heart and an ear for nature, it is nice and picturesque everywhere in our mountains.

Every peak has its own experience and as the guest wrote, especially where there are no crowds of visitors.

I recommend Krasji vrh - a peak that despite low elevation offers divine views in good weather; plus few visitors.
