Igor, thank you so much for the reply, I knew you'd pass on all the necessary info. Just come up to check if we'll make it safely to Kredarica; with such a mountaineer we'll feel safe. Of course we know the weather can surprise us, but we hope for the best. Reservation.....yeah for mulled wine....understood.

I, as the author of this proposal to celebrate New Year's Eve on Kredarica, am very happy that this thread is still open after two years and there is interest. There is nothing better than to step on the summit of our father Triglav on New Year's Day and spend the longest night of the year in the embrace of the mountains.
I suggest we start from Krma at 6.00 - a normal time, right? In 6-7 hours we'll be at Kredarica and have plenty of time. I'll go in any weather, for the summit we'll see depending on the conditions!
I'll be happy if we meet at 6.00 in as large a number as possible, and do one long group feat to our highest hut.

Come on, dude, open the trip (together to the mountains), so folk signs up, to roughly know how many of us will go.

No new thread from me. 31.12.2011 at 6:00 a.m. in Krma at the parking lot and period! (to which most will have to walk anyway and leave the car lower.)
If someone wants to go ALONE, then let them go (earlier or later).

6-7 hours insanely long some say, but I mean all including those not hardcore mountaineers who want breaks, if we go together and maybe kids or aunts among us, go to have fun. And lots of snow? Wading? Wind maybe?...
Personally last winter ascent from Krma to Kredarica took me 3h.

Well, 3 hours is somehow appropriate for a trained mountaineer. Of course, if the road is passable to "garages", might have to start from Zg. Radovna, more on that @enit will say a day before departure, right.
