Today on a nice autumn day, we visited Orle from the direction of Urha. Of course it's a walk in the true sense of the word, without any nasty climbs. Pleasant path mostly runs through the forest, only towards the end when we are already on Orle we get a view to the west and north, but views are getting fewer as new houses are being built that obscure the views. Like in most of our villages there's also an inn here to quench thirst or satisfy hunger. nasmeh

Finally I've got my health a bit in order,
but not yet enough to go swimming to Bled. velik nasmeh

A somewhat longer walk though I managed to complete,
Orle were just right for first consolation.
As for this winter I'm speechless,
on Golovec no fear of stepping on ice.
People eager for recreation on the path quite a lot,
just slightly muddy paths today weren't praiseworthy.
But that's not the first importance for all of us,
important is only to pleasantly use our time. nasmeh

Somehow with fear we went to Orle today, as we knew that ice storm also caused huge damage in the forest here and it really doesn't feel good to see this devastation.
We started at sv. Urh and continued on the lower path towards the goal. Quite a lot of trees on the path, so we walked more on "detours". nasmeh

We returned on the upper path via Dobrunjski hrib and Breznik, where the path is already cleared. This path is also dry, so walking on it is really pleasant.
Since it's carnival time, we met quite a few masks and even the devil himself served us coffee and tea. velik nasmeh

We wonder that you choose exactly that destination, like Orle. You should know that ice storm raged, at the gates of Ljubljana. You don't realize that walking under broken trees is very dangerous. It can suddenly collapse damaged. No need to ignore foresters' warning, don't go into the forest. We preferred to go to Šmarna gora. It was really fine, enough sun and not too crowded. Šmarna gora for us Ljubljana people, nearest destination and not too strenuous, now when there's no such condition yet. Everything from service is in best order. And safe step. LP nasmeh

@amarilis, but to Šmarna gora you didn't walk through forest and under broken trees? Interesting, I was up there several times after ice storm, and the devastation is really huge and if you stop a bit and look up into crowns, there are "stuck" still huge branches, which by no means would be innocent if they fall on your head... zavijanje z očmi

Regarding your tips and opinions what is better and what not, remember Prešeren.... "Let my nightingale sing as I created his throat"

And already beech is greening,
cherry on the slope has blossomed,
so go into nature,
just choose the right location.
At home everything waits for you,
as the clock of life ticks too fast. nasmeh

All paths are cleared of broken trees,
this year probably at every house there will be a bonfire. nasmeh

Weather just right for something small,

A few raindrops flew in,
so the snails could more easily get to breakfast.
We two also got there,
since we stripped blueberries and strawberries.
Today in the forest it was really pleasant,
at the end with a drink even cool. nasmeh

Paths and trails have dried a bit,
but tomorrow raindrops will wet them.
Otherwise ideal temperature for walking,
on trim devices you can even do pull-ups.

Yesterday by bike to Orle. Quite a long and steep climb somewhere in the middle.
Around the inn they're renovating something. Rode past Livada, where I haven't been for a long time either.
