For greater clarity of the route description, only the author can add pictures. But anyone can post pictures in the Current Conditions - forum section. In the future, we will also add the option for a direct link to the forum next to the route description.

How is it now with the option to add multiple photos? A while ago there was already some talk about it? Does anyone know anything maybe?

If you want to add multiple photos at once, click on the "Pictures" button, which is located to the right of the message. When selecting files, you can hold the ctrl key and select multiple files. In some older browsers (especially Internet Explorer) unfortunately you cannot select multiple files. Even if you cannot select multiple files, you don't need to wait for the previous image to finish loading, but you can already select the next one while it's loading.

I'm wondering why the pictures I upload are not in the same order as I select them, or it doesn't publish them at all. thanks for the answer

If you select multiple images at once, they load in parallel and it can happen that the image you selected first is not the first one to load. But it is planned to change this and it will also be possible to change the order of images later.

I can't understand those who downgrade ratings of nice photos. It's illogical that someone poorly rates exactly all photos. Since this also happens with other contributions, I feel that someone doesn't understand what those stars mean!

Nobody is downgrading photo ratings. Have you perhaps thought of the arrow for viewing previous images, which is a couple mm from the image's lowest rating. People view images and accidentally click on the photo rating. Just

I surely belong to those who never thought about what the stars mean, but that clicking on the photo already expresses praise . Since I write from left to right, the rating also started on the left, and then it's known.... So, don't take everything as rudeness, stupidity is sometimes just clumsiness .

It wasn't meant as stupidity, more like malice or clumsiness in rating. But it's annoying if it keeps repeating. There have already been warnings from others! Probably a notice or instruction from the admin regarding image rating wouldn't hurt. And don't mind me messing up such an interesting topic. Best if the admin moves the last five posts under pictures.

I know no one meant anything bad, but maybe posting some instructions in the spirit of "Clicking pictures for dummies", and it will be better in the future . I definitely agree with moving the last posts.

Quite simple: If you click the first star from the left it's the worst possible rating you give the picture, if you click the far right star it's the best possible rating you give the picture, everything else is in between. Everyone can rate only once, so no retake exam.

I don't get it, pika. At my place it looks like all pictures have almost all possible stars, maybe just one less. Is that bad or what?

Ok, I'll try to explain as vividly as possible: As long as the picture has no ratings, all stars are gray, on the right side of the stars is the number of votes: 0. When the first one rates, the stars from left to right turn yellow up to the star he clicks, next to it the number of votes is displayed: 1. When more people rate the picture, the yellow colored stars mean the average rating. The more yellow stars, the better the average rating of the picture. The number on the right side of the stars tells you how many people voted. If you want to give the picture the best rating, click the far right star.

That's clear to me. But I'm missing an explanation why these ratings should be bad, since they are all from 8 to 10 stars.

I also think that's not bad. You can rate a picture from different perspectives. One is its message value, the other its artistic value. A picture can have high message value and poor artistic value or vice versa, so ratings can vary greatly accordingly. To not do anyone injustice, my approach is that if the picture convinces me in any way, I rate it with the maximum rating, otherwise I don't rate at all.

No, seriously? Until now I thought I was misunderstanding something. But up there such a debate flared up because the pictures didn't get all ten stars?????
