We two take about 11 hours for the entire Rečiška, but we stop only 2 times, namely at Kal and Šmohorje. I warmly recommend the direction over Govško brdo towards Kal and Mrzlica, because in the second part towards Šmohorje you can skip Gozdnik, Tolsto or Malič in case of time trouble or bad weather.

We made it. Two days, with overnight at Mrzlica.

Yesterday's day spent in the embrace of hills above Rečiška valley was one of the better 'treats' these days after five years revisiting.
Start in Laško then slow morning ascent that quickly turned into tough workout over Govško brdo via Baba and Ostra vrh to Kal and Mrzlica. All along Kum watched me 'over there' telling me he's waiting when I next finish Zasavska trail. After Gozdnik visit the path gets milder on head and knees. After Šmohor and deserved radler Malič and its view with cherry take-off site as icing on the cake. In all this wonderful bliss sun gave us warm rays and drew smiles on faces.
