Stahovica – St. Primož – Pasje peči – Velika planina – Planina Dol – Rzenik – Planina Dol – Dolski graben – Lower cable car station

Yesterday morning the snow was still frozen, then softened and sinking in, sliding downhill. At the top of Rzenik some caution is needed because on the other side the mountain is precipitous. Through Dolski graben in the upper part under snow and leaves there are icy slabs, so small crampons recommended. Started at 6 am, back to the starting point at 3 pm. Regards nasmeh

Yesterday we trail markers of PD Bajtar cleared and sawed the scrub from planina Rzenik towards Konj summit

I hope the branch-off and the path to the Rzenik summit have remained hidden and thus intended only for those who actually bother to "study" how to get up there.

Nice.
The path from Presedljaj to Korošica has been a dirt road for a good month, nicely visible from Konj. It needs cleaning only right before the stream; further to Korošica, the scrub presents no obstacle.

From Korošica to Presedljaj, it could still be marked a bit better, as one can, despite the map, doubt whether one is even going the right way zmeden

There is still some scrub; a machete would come in handy mežikanje

Otherwise, a nice, little-visited path; on Monday it fitted perfectly after all the Sunday mountain crowds.

Today, Rzenik and Konj were in play.
Start at Kopiščih via the Martinj path to planina Dol and then to planina Rzenik.
Right at the hut, I rushed across the meadow and quickly found traces of predecessors on a well-trodden path leading in a strange direction. Orange markers began to appear, then I completely lost the path and, after a good hour riding through pines and searching for the continuation, gave up and returned to planina Rzenik. Return to the valley via the same path.
At home, I realized that I had gone too far across the meadow and taken the wrong path. Will have to go again velik nasmeh

Maybe someone knows what that path is for?

Entrance to the western path to Rzenik summit is marked with a cairn in the middle of the meadow. The path goes left and only higher turns right to the summit.
The eastern path branches at an indistinct saddle on the path to Konj. Of course, it is easier to follow from Rzenik summit, but first you have to get there. velik nasmeh

All you said is true and I have already read it in the Rzenik descriptions. I just wonder if I took the right path or not?
In the middle of the meadow I didn't notice the path; footprints in the grass led me a bit lower and then right. After about half an hour I completely lost the path and found no continuation. The summit was still far...

Yeah, if you didn't find the summit then it's hard to say you were on the "right path." zavijanje z očmi

The path is actually nicely cut into the scrub and the fight with it to the top is unnecessary. mežikanje

The road to Dol valley is maintained. The path through the forest to Planina Rzenik on Sunday was muddy and slippery. The little path from the pasture to the summit through grass and among scrub is already quite overgrown. More at: https://www.gore-ljudje.si/Kategorije/Novosti/rzenik-in-konj

@karibu - although a bit late. I think you found the start of the path above the hut that goes somewhere from Dol directly to Rzenik and started descending it towards Dol. The path in the last part (before Planina Rzenik) is marked with orange markers and at the beginning it even ascends for a while, but basically leads away from Rzenik. That's why the direction was somehow strange.

just yesterday I read your report on the hunting path between Martinj path and Planina Rzenik and was thinking it needs checking out mežikanje

The path is indeed as you mentioned marked with orange markers (crosses).
