Yes, of course, and at Iglu as always the rest too, until the first harbingers of spring push out of the ground. For touring gear I don't worry too much. I jump to Villach or Klagenfurt, problem solved and even friendlier to customers.

Can "viharnik" tell me where to go in Klagenfurt to check touring gear? And how much cheaper on average than here?? lp

Touring gear and more is quite cheaper in Austria than here. I buy only because of Dynafit bindings (excellent walking-flex, step length, safety, durability and weight) everything else in parts. Otherwise I've noticed that complete sets there can be bought almost for free, I'd say, compared to here. In passing I noticed that a set of new Volkl skis (wood full core and basic Diamir Experience bindings) costs there 380eur. Everything else is cheaper basically 10-15eur with 20% discount. Now maybe even cheaper. Stores are: Sports Experts Klagenfurt, Hervis Klagenfurt, Sport 2000 Villach. For 15 eur the servicer mounts and with device properly (according to weight, flex or strength of boot...) optimal binding release-boot ejection on fall.

I'm interested if anyone has experience with naxo 02 bindings. Last year I bought them as a beginner and don't know a comparison with others. L.P.

Naxo bindings are even higher quality compared to Diamir. Naxo experts were namely leading collaborators of Diamir, after they split up among themselves. Advantage of Naxo bindings is mainly that they are made with more parts, which we can replace without a problem. Diamir ones we have to throw away and buy new ones.

Have the discounts started at Iglu - BTC Ljubljana?

Viharnik thanks, then I bought well. I heard they don't produce them anymore, don't know how it will be with parts.

Didn't Naxo go bust last year?

I also got information that Naxo has gone bust. For colleague Dušan we actually got touring bindings from the mentioned company last month and we were a bit surprised. LP Andrej

Yes, Naxo is no more, but a good friend of mine who services MTB (slo.champ downhill 91) and skis told me that Naxo leaders were at that time with Diamir among the main guys if not the most profitable in development. At some point they parted due to different views on novelties, why closure I don't know, maybe now doing profitable developments.

The company that made Naxo bindings now makes bindings for cross-country skiing etc. LP Andrej

Viharnik, I can't agree with you on Naxo at all. From reliable sources I know that these bindings are the most problematic (read: breakable) in the touring bindings offer here, consequently most complaints on them. True, parts can be replaced. The issue with competitors is not as bad as you mention (say Diamir or Dynafit), but I know quite a few people who changed the head, the bar... True, parts are harder to get. But - will you keep doing that constantly? Will you still trust them after one breaks somewhere? I'd rather not think if it happens on some 'critical' part... Don't know about warranty on Naxo, on Dynafit and Diamir it's three years.
