I went to check how it is with this Raduha. I think it can be seen from Šmarna, but we probably confuse it with Veliki vrh / Veža / , Velika Zelenica, Molička peč and Poljske Device. In front also Dleskovška planota. Today the weather didn't allow better views.

we'll do a whole expertise I pulled the longitudinal profile in "google" and found that Veliki vrh is more to the left from the direction, the line goes somehow through the middle of Vel. planina by height; in the longitudinal profile there's nothing higher, so theoretically it's really possible to see Vel. Raduha 2062m
The joke is that I thought Rogatec was Vel. Raduha.
In the end we'll all be right (:-)))))

To the right of Rogatec, that's towards the west, is also Lepenatka. As Franci says, on the telescope on Šmarna g. Raduha is marked.

I browsed some pictures in the opposite direction a bit and found an interesting picture of our Janez on page 15 - Raduha pic no. 13, where Nanos is nicely visible between Deska and Dleskovec. Šmarna gora lies in the direction Nanos - Raduha. The shot is a bit foggy so you can't see Šmarna gora exactly. Under ideal conditions it can probably be seen, so it's correctly written next to the telescope Raduha, just visibility has to be top notch.
I think now I'm not mistaken.

I haven't been to Šmarna gora yet and dare to comment from in front of the computer. This with Raduha will be tougher, to the right of Rogatec you can see Golte.

If it were Grebenc, Bašeljski vrh, we'd never know what can be seen from Šmarna. Best we meet up there one nice day and get to the bottom of things. čarli, you'll get to Šmarna one day too.

I went to check the view on Raduha. I think, actually I'm almost sure it can't be seen from Smarna Gora. Čarli you're probably right. And some photos from today.

To know what you see from the top, I recommend the web apps Generate panorama or Peak Finder. Very interesting and useful if you want to know what you're looking at right now. Print it out and take it with you, read from paper at the top. Like summit plaques, only more detailed.

Šmarna gora spoiled us today with warm sunny rays and people took full advantage of it. Even on Mazijeva's trail it was almost a procession .
