What do you suggest regarding Grintovec? Should we choose something else for tomorrow?

I would also go to Komna tomorrow but I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's safe if it's snowing today...

For Komna there will definitely be no problems tomorrow because it's not snowing heavily and even if it were the only obstacle would be trampling the snow. What do you suggest for Stol tomorrow? At the beginning of the week conditions were good, probably not much snow fell, maybe about 10 cm, not much more?

Julijci should be avoided because I just came back from the gates and it was snowing quite a bit. Karavanke no problem, Stol is whitened just a sample, Vrtača and Begunjščica are accessible via gullies. Tomorrow let your goal be thoughtful and planned according to conditions. Let's use the first Sunday in the new year without injuries and GRS.

Storžič, I think, shouldn't be a problem either?

The stability of the snow cover is satisfactory given current conditions. Over the weekend larger amounts of snow are expected in the high mountains. After that, it will be necessary to wait some time for conditions to stabilize. Currently in Julijci there is 5 to 20 cm of newly fallen dry unbonded snow, which is not bonded to the base. In deeper layers the snow is bonded. Conditions tomorrow for hiking in the mountains will still be relatively safe until the first major precipitations. Danger level is still 2, but not much time left. Lp, safe step

It's not about any shenanigans, the question was just strangely phrased. (in our mountains) And who would bother listing snow on all our mountains, and if you know that the mountain pass Vršič, which is 1611 m high, was closed yesterday (about 30 cm of snow fell) it's more or less clear to everyone how much snow fell in the mountains. All mountain visitors also know that at this time only one high mountain weather station is operating and that's Kredarica, anyone who knows how to use the web can check the conditions up there here: http://www.arso.gov.si/vreme/napovedi%20in%20podatki/snezna_odeja.html, or just call up there and ask. Everyone can also check a ton of webcams here: http://www.hribi.net/spletne_kamere_v_gorah, in short, you also need to know how to ask a question if you want an answer, and before that do a little searching and not just wait for it served on a plate. And also, it's stupid to expect someone to serve exact data precisely, when the weather was such that even a walk in the valley wasn't feasible and who would be so dumb to push into the mountains in weather like yesterday.

IgorZlodej, I didn't mean for every mountain individually. I meant more generally for the Karawanks, Kamnik and Julian Alps, not for every mountain. If there's 30 cm of snow on Vršič, it makes it clearer to me how and what, thanks for the info.

p.s. - since yesterday they also no longer publish snow cover data on Kredarica (15.11.-15.5.)
