Hi everyone!
Looking for someone who would like to spend free time with me - mountains, skiing, rollerblading, swimming, hills. Who would teach me sport climbing etc. Mainly a sporty person (preferably from difa) and non-smoker. I'm from Styria end CE-MB (anyone from Gorenjska or Notranjska can write too). I'm a young girl looking for young company. If interested, contact me.nasmeh

I suggest you look at what kind of groups there are on the youth sections of MB mountaineering societies.

@shelly

I advise you to find the nearest Alpine Section to you (AO Celje matica, AO Kozjak,..), where you'll find tons of folks doing what interests you.

I was already at AO. But there are too few such trips as I would go and I'd like to go when it suits me. There the date is fixed and if you have time you go, if not you can't. And then you throw away that membership fee money.

shelly, I recommend the FB group Hribolazec (someone already posted the link for you). As far as I follow them, they have tons of hikes of various difficulties organized. No hiding behind nicknames like on the forum, there are names and surnames and published photos from group trips. I'm not saying you can't find good company via forum; I just say you can also run into... say, not the best velik nasmeh

As for sport climbing, I warmly recommend joining some course or guided training under supervision of experienced instructors. At crags I see that beginners are "taught" by such types that I'm amazed there aren't more accidents yet. Even after finishing the course you won't be fully confident; that comes with years of experience... If you need some contact for Styrian area, say so mežikanje

Maybe one of the first on Hribi and we checked in as "guest" back then. Then we got "nicks", some change them, some still have the first ones.
Me, cck. 7 years the same until the end!
On this forum I met quite a few "mountain lovers" with whom we successfully socialize and share this passion together.
We are different in gender, mileage of mountaineering, experience, physical abilities, age etc.
We understand each other, help each other, call on the phone, inform where we're going, invite and so far no disagreement among us.
All this arose on the basis of "Hribi.net" and confirms that you can also find the right trustworthy fellow hiker this way...(the one who talks little but does a lot...)

It's been written several times that on FB the most active group regarding mountains and socializing is Hribolazec and its "engine", Sašo Benetek.
Bullseye, grab the opportunity with both hands!

Janez, on Facebook very few organized joint ascents are arranged, as I have followed, this weekend under Sašo's auspices Jerebica is on the schedule. I still see statements, everyone goes at their own responsibility, not led by an alpine guide nor by the initiator. Who then takes at least a bit of responsibility if someone falls and gets injured (not thinking of criminal responsibility from negligence, because that's really each one's own), providing first aid, calling GRS (by points as GRS describes), calming the injured that everything will be ok.... Best is to be a member of an alpine club and browse their websites where they have plans for this year. Why go with him, because it's led by an alpine guide and you can ask him more, if an accident happens the alpine guide must/know how to provide proper help, my opinion much better choice are alpine clubs, these Facebook groups are more so-so, "shoddy", more suitable for looking at pictures, ZS arrangements, ideas, but in the end at least 95% of members already know that. cool

LG, don't rave. In the Hribolazec group joint ascents are posted quite often and for someone looking for company for trips it's definitely an excellent choice. And to avoid misunderstanding, nothing wrong with PDs. And also; if they warned you because of behavior in the group (justified), then don't cry on other forums.

Sašo organizes joint ascents, about whom I don't want to write, because he's a totally fine initiator, he always has such ascents suitable for the majority. But by no means go in winter to Triglav, Špik, Mojstrovke, but chooses lower mountains. That's all.

Regarding responsibility, everyone is responsible for themselves. Everyone best knows how capable they are and if they can join a certain tour. I don't know why someone should be responsible. Basic first aid everyone should know how to give, just like a basic first aid kit is a mandatory part of gear in the backpack. In a group you just divide tasks, someone provides aid, one calls GRS, basically divide the tasks.
Regarding guided tours by PZS, you also go on those at your own responsibility. The guide has the main say and is responsible for leading and executing the tour, while participants are responsible for their own safety. Others are professional mountain guides, which shouldn't be mixed with PZS guides.
But it's interesting how someone in one of the threads praises Facebook groups, here they are shoddyzavijanje z očmi

The word in quotes, but here only first aid stings me, if there's a sprain, fracture, head injury, spine injury. The injured needs help in a short time, helicopters might not even come in summer because of bad weather, mountain rescuers can also take several hours to reach the injured, .....zebdi, if you were ever a victim and were in some group and someone accidentally dragged you here and there with an injured spine, saying he masters first aid still from the time of the driving exam.

If you suspect a spine injury or any other serious injury, you leave the injured as still as possible, or don't move him here and there. You try to protect him as much as possible and keep him warm. That's why astrofolia is in the first aid kit. If you don't have it, you use extra clothes from other participants. That you don't move the injured with a back injury if you're not trained, you actually must know from elementary school times, since we (at least we) had first aid for some time.
Admin will have to move some posts, because we strayed from the topic. Again.

GregorC: If you don't write anything, nothing would happen on this portalmežikanje, but to say and write that everyone is responsible themselves seems to me very rude and irresponsible, because someone must be the main one in deciding, be responsible and decisive, know how to provide first aid, assess conditions, be attentive to participants, help someone advancing over the climbing part. If an accident happens, you can be criminally responsible or not. Will you also tell him you are to blame yourself and leave him there eek probably you will help him or dismiss him capitalistically like they do in hospitals. This doesn't please me no matter how it turns.

Is this the way!
"tour not led by mountain/alpine guide, not led by me, participation at own responsibility!" jezik

and who leads the tour anyway zmeden that's "shoddy".

You're complicating a bit already.
Mixing organized tours with unorganized. Normally you help injured and provide aid until rescuers arrive (you would do that also to one you meet randomly on tour). Don't understand why someone should answer for your actions. If you don't like the system, which obviously you don't, continue going alone. Which you mostly already do, same as me.
