At the parking lot in Tacen, Matej and I changed our minds about going to Šmarna gora and drove to Golo brdo to Slavkov dom. From there to Jeterbenk, Rog and Katarina. We skipped Jakob as it was a bit foggy at times. On most signposts inscriptions are removed, I hope it's for renovation not vandalism. Path without features, nicely carpeted with leaves.

Today nice, circular path. Starting point Sveta Katarina(Topol)-Jeterbenk-Rog-St. Jacob-Sveta Katarina(Topol). Snow about twenty centimeters, but no obstacle on the path. Today afternoon almost no hikers. Nice path, suitable for all hikers. Nice hiking greeting.

Not exactly this circular tour, but I placed it here. So Thursday folks PD Škofja Loka don't rest. We drove to village Žlebe and went past hayracks Pod Kozolcem to the top of Jeterbenk. Now the path is dry, if snow or ice, would need crampons, as it's quite steep. Path follows educational trail. Trail markers accompany us-nice. Then through village Topol towards St. Jacob. Hike end at gostišče Legastja. Beautiful sunny day, more spring than winter.

Already in Žlebe we had the first refreshment.

On the path we encounter points of the hiking trail. The points are numbered with place names - no. 5 - Na Marjeti.

We started with number five - this is already six - Na Razpotju. It starts in the other direction from where we joined the path.

It smells like spring, but where is this year's winter?

Very instructive - no. 11 - Below the ridge.

I think the educational trail is finished. I seem to have missed some points of the trail - no. 13 - At the chapel

On Monday my four-legger and I went on a trip similar to this tour - a bit longer though.

Circular path: Gunclje - Tosko Celo - Katarina - Jeterbenk - Slavkov Dom - Bormes - Gunclje, under 18km.

Currently the heat is quite unbearable, good to have plenty of fluids, definitely several possible stops nasmeh

Today Barbara and I did one "regional". Started at Slavkov dom and first to Jeterbenk.
Continued towards Kol and on to St. Jakob.
Weather initially a bit cloudy, on Jeterbenk already sun with nice views on KS and Karavanke.
Returned through Katarina. Some mud in places, otherwise nothing special. Nice autumn colors enhanced the trip.

For today's Sunday some sun was forecast. Sadly nothing, just fog, fog and lots of mud and good spirits. We don't give up. Start in Stanežiče, past Slavkov dom, under Jeterbenk to Rog to Jakob. Then back past the other little church of St. Jakob, towards Bormes and back to Stanežiče. Total 17 km. If no sun, then fog, we go on, someday sun again, something higher...

we go hoping for sun, but fog is no obstacle

Polhograjci are well marked, yet sometimes there is a dilemma, but not for experts...

With four-legger Gunclje - Tosko Celo - Katarina - Jakob - Jeterbenk - Slavkov Dom - Bormes - Gunclje came to exactly 20km. Some parts quite slippery so almost put on crampons, if I hadn't left them home. rolling

Plan was different, but car complained somewhere on the way to Gorenjska that tire leaking air. So turned back, added air but still leaking, so better headed home. At 5am no tire shop, so went to repeat this nice loop for me.

Gunclje - V. Trata - Toško Čelo - Katarina - Polhograjska Grmada - St. Jakob - Jeterbenk - Medno - Grmada - Šmarna Gora - Gunclje

Path without features. To Šmarna Gora brought some material for path repair, seems they will start soon.

Watch showed 35km.

Slavkov dom - Petelinc - Jeterbenk - Rog - St. Jakob - St. Katarina

It's been quite a while since hiking this circular path, so long that I already forgot how good a tour it actually is. The weather wasn't great, yesterday even some rain drops in between, but still worth going on this path.
We started at Slavkov dom (closed since January, now reopened), headed towards Jeterbenk with a right turn towards Petelinc, then on to Rog, where on the little ridge the view opens left and right. To St. Jakob it's not far anymore. We returned via the lower path through St. Katarina and thus made a loop at Pri hrastu, then just back to the starting point.

Next time from village Žlebe to St. Marjeta and onwards, and maybe sometime another ridge to explore.
