Instead of crunching underfoot, we can look for flowers in the clearing. On yesterday's Monday, which was weather-wise quite exceptional. Autumn paths, lots of leaves and also a bit of mud, if anyone has rheumatism salad. velik nasmeh

Some imagination and will are also needed for a shot that enthuses and takes a person into nature.

Today a bit out into the sun to the nearby Polhograjce, which are now greener than the bare high mountains.
I start the tour at Slavkov dom, where the sun has already peeked a bit through the foggy cover. On the ridge at the cross already pure clarity. With a local we complain about the below ridge path quite loaded with logs, higher b.p. The sun has properly heated the December day towards the top. At the top only a handful of regular local visitors, which in the direction of Rog, even more Jakob, only increased after the visit. Walking on mostly dry ridges was a real pleasure stroll, with excellent views all around. Four-legged hill wanderers were also plentiful and they too enjoyed this rare December day very much.

Ridge with crookedly overgrown beech forest from the north wind

The local female on Jeterbenk has already found her favorite spot

10 v.m. below Rog he decided not to go anywhere anymore!

@zippo: the trip I mention in the first paragraph happened around 2011-2012 and I don't remember exactly anymore. I know I left the bike somewhere in the forest around Legastje or a bit further towards the starting point for Via Dido and did the mentioned circular route. Exactly where, I don't remember.

Today a nice afternoon walk over Topol to Jeterbenk, from there to Rog and on to St. Jakob. Nice, short tour that offers nice views. Recommended. Nice greetings.

Today something similar, but in the opposite direction. I started at Slavkov dom and continued along the ridge towards Jetrbenk. From there over Rog above Katarina to St. Jakob. I returned via the lower path through Katarina. I didn't meet many, as probably quite a few are still lying in ditches on Rožnik nasmeh

Interesting trip which I did years ago, back then a large cross was still standing on Rog.

Even if someone steals it, it is not worth much.

In a few days it will smell along the ridge.

Blagaj's wolfsbane is a beautiful fragrant flower that we don't encounter very often and since it's now its blooming time we went to see it and of course smell it in Polhograjci... wonderful nasmeh
