Tičarice, Kopica and Zelnarice

It's true. There was an error in the text editor and I didn't notice the mistake at all. I fixed it. The pictures had correct captions. Velika Zelnarica is only ten meters higher than Mala Zelnarica - according to Triglav National Park map. I haven't gone up this path. I went a year ago. There is no marked path up. You search in that scree for the easiest way - a bit unpleasant.

Velika Zelnarica and Mala Zelnarica. Which is higher? When you stand on Mala, you're sure you're higher than Velika. But when you step on Velika, you don't notice the height difference. Basic topographic maps at 1:10000 scale say that Mala is higher by exactly 1m (2320.8 - 2319.8). Mountaineering maps all claim that Velika is higher than Mala by 10m.

No, I didn't visit all the peaks in the title, I skipped Velika Tičarica and Velika Zelnarica.
Started at planina Blato and arrived at Mala Tičarica just before sunrise.
Continued to Kopica and then to Mala Zelnarica.
The Triglav Lakes Valley shook off the morning shadows and the wonderfully autumn-colored larches tempted me, which I could see from the entire ridge. So I descended to sedlo Vrata and traversed under Vršaki. Fortunately the snow was dry and there was no ice, so no crampons were needed.
Descent to the Triglav Lakes Valley and to Prehodavci. Probably met someone who had already posted online from these parts. Otherwise, hikers that could be counted on the fingers of one hand.
After a snack at Prehodavci towards Ledvička and Double Lake. The whole way, especially in the upper part of the valley, there were really those "proper" golden larches. Towards Double Lake they were already more bare and dark.
To the car at planina Blato was still long, but what is that against such a beautiful day.

Very nice. How much longer will it be like this? Next weekend we plan to go to the Hut at Triglav Lakes. Hope we don't miss it.

Autumn-colored larches usually last until around Oct 20 or a few days more. Next week we'll definitely catch some more autumn glimpses. Hope for nice weather  Best

Velika Tičarica . It's dry up to there, beyond that I don't know.
