Two-day tour in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps

Oh yeah, I know Raduha, very nice or relatively easily accessible mountain, so far I've always gone via Loko gora, haven't been to Grohat yet, nor via Durce either.

LG, which Veliki vrh did you mean, probably the one in Karavanke, or is there one in KSA toozmeden

If it's like that, then I won't join them, because I'm not completely indifferent to depths. I'll never forget when panic grabbed me in Turski žleb, when I didn't know whether to go forward or back, I was completely frozen on the edgeeek, I already saw myself down there somewheremrk pogled, but then I had to pull myself together and overcome that drop...zavijanje z očmi

@jprim, thanks for the advice, regarding high mountains I'm still quite a beginner, in KSA so far only on Kamniški Dedec and Skuta, well of course Raduha too, in Julians only on Vogl (1922 m).

Judging by the picture, you're setting off on the tour as healthy young guys alone, so the execution shouldn't be problematic at all. If you go on the path in high summer, liquid supply is a very important factor. Date-wise I suggest doing the tour at the end of June, when the day is longest, but no real heat yet. Of course the snow must have mostly melted.
I've done something similar a few times myself, but I overnighted in the bivouac in Kočna, then during the day I covered the entire KSA ridge to the east. (both Kočni, Grintovec, Dolgi hrbet, Štruca, Skuta, 3 Rinke, Turska gora, Brana, Planjava and Ojstrica) Via Korošica and Presedljaj I descended to Kamniška Bela, where I arrived at the car already in dusk.
Wish you a safe journey and lots of enjoyment.

I meant Veliki vrh between Ojstrica and Raduha.

Hribovc, in May I start after a healed injury again with active wandering in KSA.
You have tel. no. for arrangementsvelik nasmeh When reading some comments it seems to me that some have appropriated the mountains as if they were on their parcel....
Instead of helping young people with knowledge, encouraging them,...
Well here shows the true Slovenian mentality and envy! Why would you also climb up there if I already have everything photographed.... LP

Thanks jany, we'll definitely arrange, yeahmežikanje You're right, yeah, some feel almighty, sometimes I don't mind at all if, rudely said, someone throws down or f***seek

And yeah Sam.volk, I definitely plan to stay with Urška and Pohorje, don't worry, you'll have plenty of space to climb wherever you wantvelik nasmeh

True that the time isn't right but anyway... Maybe someone knows to tell what the path between Koroška Rinka and Skuta is like. Once in summer we'd set off from Okrešelj through Turski žleb to K.Rinka and direct to Skuta (of course if possible) and back to Okrešelj. Does someone maybe have a pic?

Best thanks to all.velik nasmeh

No marked path from K.Rinka to Skuta (maybe something wild for....), but from Mali Podi nicely possible without problems to both summits, of course each separately, in a day and half easily.
view from Turska gora1

Rinka-Skuta ridge counts among alp. climbs III. grade so if not at home in these waters I advise path or X's suggestion

What problems you'll deal with on this beautiful ridge is nicely described here:http://www2.arnes.si/~mcuder/dnevnik/030813.html

Hi! With a colleague we are planning a 2- or 3-day tour from Kamniškega to Kokrsko sedlo (or reverse), we'd go over as many summits as possible, the main thing for us is to reach Skuta, and one night sleep in the bivouac under Skuta.nasmeh Has anyone done a similar tour and would advise us where to start and in what order to go over the summits to usefully spend time and energy? nasmeh
We are not beginners, we have lots of fitness, we just need some smart advice from those who have done a similar tour nasmeh

Hello
From Kamniško sedlo to Kokrsko sedlo with summits in between, if you have the fitness as you said then it's for 1 day (Brana-Turska gora-Skuta-Dolgi Hrbet-Grintovec). The condition is of course the fitness as you said. The 2-day tour would be first day ascent to Brana, Turska gora and all Rinke, overnight in bivouac under Skuta then next day Skuta-D.Hrbet-Grintovec. That's for moderate pace without rushing. The important condition is that I meant this in summer when it's dry. Good luck

As redbull already wrote, the variant is of course only one more, going in the opposite direction. :>
If you're really planning to go for 2-3 days, it's worth adding Kočni to the list to cover all peaks in the central part of KSA.

Great, thanks for the outline plan. I like this second version better. But I don't know what the conditions on the path are like - given the current weather by June all snow could be gone or is some part of the path more sheltered - in the shade and crampons needed?
And the path itself - is it well marked so you don't stray off trail?
