There really is a beautiful world just like it was many years ago, when we first hiked in those parts.
That arrow though is unique and really points exactly to the hut.

Hello,
from which side is it easier to find the path to Ute?
From Strelovec or from Robanov kot?

Can maybe someone attach a photo where the hut is located, for easier orientation?

From Robanova planina towards Ute there are huge screes and probably each is suitable for ascent, but where does the hunters' path start?

The traceable trail is from Strelovec.

From Strelovec you go along the ridge until it closes (nice grassy plateau). There left on a little path to the col, behind it down ca 50m and cross to the steep slope on the right. Soon you reach an exposed ledge (rope) and a bit more, you're at the hut.
From Robanov kot though start right of the planina. Here orientation isn't so simple. And "path" is long.

From Robanov kot you'll find the route description on the link below but that initial part is very steep and unpleasant, plus one traverse to the left very exposed. Then watch out not to lose the little path in the forest which continues higher in the meadows.

So you're not in doubt, a couple more pics...from Strelovca towards the hut.

Here you turn left on the path under the inclined trunk towards the notch.

On the other side of the notch down through scree to the larches on the right side of the picture.

Between larches up to the ledge secured with a rope.

After the traverse you will soon enjoy a beautiful view on stan.

Today at the best hotel in KSA!
How much beauty a short section of the path from the ridge towards Utam can offer I couldn't even imagine in my best thoughts. From a herd of chamois on morning pasture in Vratni žleb to wonderful flowering meadows and overhanging walls with huge gentians and butterflies of all possible colors!
The surroundings in front of the "Hotel"... speechless!
The most critical spot in my opinion is picture 2 which @dprapr attached, after that the path is nicely traceable.
In short, wonderful morning with cooling in the cold Savinja!

Today the path from Krofička towards Travnik and further to the shepherd's hut below Utam tempted me too. The path along the ridge is nicely traceable, here and there you have to wrestle a bit with the scrub. The most unpleasant part today were the steep wet grasses on the descent from the gully. The shepherd's hut is really in an idyllic spot and just invites you to sit down and enjoy. Unfortunately fog was rolling today so no views.

Today to Ute via Vratni žleb.
The dwarf pines leading to the top of Ute someone sawed this year, so the ascent to the summit is without wrestling with scrub. nasmeh

Descent along the road above Icmanikova planina and over Rožni vrh to the valley.

...and past the nicest hut in the KSA....

On the return we unfortunately encounter a completely new road where there was still a meadow last year...

Today repeated last year's trip along the ridge from Krofička to Travnik and further to the shepherd's hut below Utam. The path is without features, only on the northern sides greater caution is needed due to slippery rocks.

If someone makes footsteps and eases the ascent for you, you still have energy for continuing the tour. And from Krofička there is such continuation along one of the most beautiful ridges.
With my brother we enjoyed up there today. The ascent went without issues thanks to Iuvi (thanks).
On the northern side there are still real winter conditions, no sun, steep traverses.
On the ridge towards Utam however sun and consequently soft snow in places, which held us on the ridge for quite some time.
The hut below Utami was open, even though there were no tracks around. Since my IQ is higher than my shoe size, I managed to close it. nasmeh

From the hut onwards it was sinking maximally.
The traverse towards Movznik was suspicious, steep and under about 30cm quite hard.
Towards Strelovec however the ambience that always enchants.
Definitely a day and tour for the soul!
