Veliki vrh, Dleskovec

Road to Planinšek drivable with winter tires, chains just in case in the trunk. The track was already made via Pl. Jezerca to Dleskovec. I descended to the saddle and climbed to Vel. vrh. At the top fog messed it up for me, but by the time I got back down to the saddle it was completely gone. Followed ascent to Dleskovec, powder skiing back to saddle, ascent back to Dleskovec and ski down into fog to the car.

Road to Planinšek is dry. We went up via Pl. Jezerca where first sun rays caught us. Above tree line strong NW wind was blowing. Crossing under Dleskovec it was blowing so hard almost couldn't breathe. For ascent to Veliki vrh ice picks came in handy. At top great views and terrible wind. Ski down to saddle on wind-packed firm snow was excellent. Followed ascent to Dleskovec which is almost snowless up top. From it we skied towards planina Ravne, from which due to great powder skiing we climbed once more towards Dleskovec. Walking without skis or snowshoes still very difficult now because snow sinks a lot. We enjoyed it, Igor and Janez.

Road to Planinšek completely dry, first snow on road much higher up. Since road plowed I drove with car to Pl. Ravne. Around Dleskovec old track came in handy. When starting ascent to Veliki Vrh the skin detached from one ski, so skis went on backpack, shells and crampons for ascent on icy snow. On V. Vrh fantastic view. Too bad I forgot camera at home. Ski down from V. Vrh quite good. Then climbed to Dleskovec. Ski from there worse but still better than walking.

Today was a bit below great summit, preferred to turn back because my dog was slipping nasmeh

Up to 1900m sinking to knees.
Path to great summit very icy, crampons mandatory.

Has anyone driven on this last snow under Dleskovec/Desko? What's the road like towards pl. Ravne or Podvežak?

Gričar, do you mean the livestock barrier right below Podvežak?

Yes, up to there possible on 15.1, as far as I know not much snow fell. Conditions change every day though.

Planinšek farm-planina Ravne-Veliki vrh. A bit below summit we turned back, too foggy. From planina Ravne more new snow, under Veliki vrh about 10-15 cm. Hikers ahead sinking in. Ski down fresh snow great, only in forest above planina Ravne too little snow for nice skiing. From planina down road again pleasant descent to Planinšek.

When the sun days on end can't get through clouds, need to go meet it. This time to Veliki vrh.

Quickly to Velika Zelenica so we can look into Robanov kot and towards Utam

Then quickly back because a very cold wind is blowing.

On descent I wonder if any higher neighbor resents that the plateau is named after it

As we look back at Veliki vrh for the last time, the sun bids farewell to all of us too

White-yellow marking is sign for thematic path. (forest learning path or tourist...)
When thematic hiking path leaves mountain path, sign for thematic hiking path is placed and white-yellow markings are used

Today we were up. Started from Planina Ravne, road drivable with winter gear to planina, further to parking only with offroader. zavijanje z očmi

On Saturday Dleskovec plateau pure fantasy nasmeh

offered great conditions to loop sausage Planinšek-Podvežak-Beli vrh-Sedelce-Dleskovec-Planina Ravne and in dusk back by road to Planinšek. LP velik nasmeh
