Has anyone been to Great Peak recently? What are the conditions and what's the road like? I assume conditions are bp, since no snow.

I was alone yesterday on Deska, no snow, road to Podvežak bp. Maybe someone has more specific info nasmeh

Yesterday past hunting hut at Brežiči to Deska, Tolsti vrh and finally to Great Peak and Zelenica. Path was "entirely" dry...

A little further from the hunting hut, a nice view opens towards Rzenik and Konj.

In the background, Grintovec is also visible.

Just below the summit on Deska.... in the background V. Rogatec.

On Deska, a view opens towards Ojstrica and Planjava.

Not left, not right but straight ahead to Tolsti vrh :)

From Tolsti vrh there is a nice view towards Vodotočnik

And already almost at the top of Zelenica

Today nice loop trail to Great Peak and Velika Zelenica. Up through Dolge trate, back over Zelene trate. One snow patch a bit below summit of Great Peak, which can be bypassed on rocks past snow patch. Trail is very nice and offers great views. Nice greeting.

Road to planina Ravne is ok. There is asphalt to the highest farm, then maybe 3-4 km of gravel road, a bit of care is needed there, but it drives nicely to planina.

Autumn in the mountains is gorgeous. The road to planina Ravne is well maintained and the tour to Dleskovec, Veliki vrh and Velika Zelenica one of the nicest this autumn.

Skala 123, you mixed a bit. The hut in pic16 is shepherd hut on DOLGA TRATA. ZELENA TRATA is where the path to Lučka Koča splits from the trail to Dolga Trata.

On pic No. 12 is the hut on MOLIČKA PEČ. Molička planina is far away.

ziki, maybe you mixed up a bit. Molička peč is a 2029 m high mountain. Molička planina is on pic. 12.

Last time inside the shelter I checked the inscriptions; they all said the chapel stands on Molička peč.

The naming of Molička planina at this place (below Molička peč) grew in cartographers' heads and has no basis among locals. Sadly not the only case of wrong naming.
The saying holds: "Read the map, but for the right path, ask the peasant".

On Tuesday I was on Molička peč 2029 m., and didn't see any chapel or hut up there, though I see well. Saw cavers' bivouac under Molička peč. Chapel is on Molička planina, at Zeleni trati path goes a bit right to Veliki vrh and Molička peč, left to Molička planina. Can't type c with caron cuz weird letters. On pic top of Molička peč.

Nobody claims they didn't name the top between V. Zelenica and Poljskimi devicami Molička peč. It's terminological alignment regarding the area beyond Žvižgovec with the same name. And positioning Molička planina.

Over the weekend to Veliki vrh via Dleskovec. Weather and conditions fantastic. Not much will change in one week, maybe a meter more of road will be open ... with car up to the viewpoint with wooden bench (on road to planina Ravne).

Yesterday to Veliki vrh from Molička, descent via unmarked winter path, which is getting overgrown with brushwood.

Yesterday we visited Veliki vrh and "on the way" also Veliko Zelenico. Start at planina Ravne and over Zelene trate to the summit. We returned towards Molička planina and over Dolga trata. Path without special features. On descent we met a group of Celje path markers carrying new poles and direction signs. cool
