Tomorrow I'll be around here and thought maybe try this route. Problem? No via ferrata set, description says mandatory.
1. Can rent nearby (Jezersko)?
2. I know it's a dumb question basically, but anyway. Anyone goes without? How often people go without set?
Thinking of option 2 only cuz on Gradiško tour (Furlanova) never take set and always fine, but true from pics it looks easier than this (overhang, exposed...). Opinion?

As if the guy can now swing on railway without protection if just careful (maybe watch signals and careless climbers).
I think it'd be smart not to answer such questions accidentally, because it can be damn dangerous!

Upper half normally passable.

That's notice on their FB page. Upper half except one detail easy and I don't use SVK there myself, lower part mandatory!

Climbed the ferrata yesterday and didn't notice anything closed. 
In the first part I think there's no way without the kit, as markobrezje wrote. In the second part it's possible without, but still recommended, you never know ...
Otherwise the ferrata is really nice.

If someone doesn't have their own via ferrata kit, they also don't have sufficient experience for the ascent on the Češka koča ferrata. Just my opinion The detail on the ferrata has grade E, which is far from going through without a via ferrata kit.

Naprosyn, you're comparing the Gradiška tour with the ferrata to Češka koča. The Gradiška tour is similar to the second part of the Češka ferrata, except the entry to the second part - much harder, the first part is much more demanding than Gradiška.

Yesterday I went with a buddy - ferrata officially closed.
Small rockfall on overhang in middle section, right at emergency exit; cable hangs over overhang without one intermediate bolt (which hangs on cable) on upper bolts; above this rockfall cracks visible still ca 10m above overhang at various spots, so terrain seems unstable here to me. Overhang in this combo half grade harder than official rating (but now practically one single move).

Today afternoon after work a stroll on the ferrata..got to stretch your arms...apart from the heat and the high cable over the overhang without thrilling features...oh the ferrata is still officially closed.

On Friday Drago and I climbed this ferrata and on Saturday also Gonžarjeva peč. Still under fresh impression of both ferratas I can claim this one can't compare to Gonžarjeva peč. As one predecessor said it's at least one grade easier than Gonžarjeva. Both are wonderful, each in its own way. janezs73 is right about the overhang, with one move you do it all, but it is not good to be too small :-) Lots of enjoyment to all and of course safe and happy.

@CarKuki I fully agree. Gonžarjeva peč is much harder than Češka koča. But at least to my taste Češka koča (speaking of the famous "E" spot) might even be easier than the last part of Lisce.
Does anyone have info on completion of ferrata Hvadnik gorge - Waterfall?
