From this year's posts under path description via ferrata from Belopeška lakes it looks normally passable. Is it still officially closed?

17.8. went to V. Ponca via ferrata. Ferrata renewed, cables new. Just watch for stonefall, lots loaded on path.
Path between Planiška škrbina and Visoka Ponca officially closed, due to landslide.

And here's the problem. Italians equipped the path and "ferrata" with new cables, attracting many (especially foreign) hikers who choose our "easier" path for descent, which is officially closed. The upper part on descent is really awkward, so it is necessary to secure that part with a cable.

I was there and yes it is. On the Italian side all new. Met only 4 people. But the passage to Srednja Ponca is really awkward. Ours could fix that. If the Italians already have.
