In Mašer's guidebook it says: "The mountain is indisputably the ruler of the Mrzla voda valley, the magnificent north face to Žabniška krnica is a chapter unto itself.... As is customary in the Julians, this steep mountain also has a somewhat milder south side, although it too gives the impression of a wall. Marjeta and I set out from Jezerska dolina; during the easy walk along the road to Viška planina, she was still under the impression of yesterday's ascent to Debeli vrh, telling me about the 10€ payment for transport to Blato planina, dusty road, full parking lot, in short the disappointment was complete, and not just for her. In Italy such a disgrace can't be experienced yet. On the planina a magnificent view opens to the walls above Corsi hut, there's none like it far and wide. At the lower cable car station we turn onto the path to Corsi hut. The Italian-Hungarian caretaking family is really pleasant. We continue towards Trbiška škrbina, the passage to Mrzla voda valley has been arranged a bit lower for some years now. Here starts the Anita Goitan path, of course we've both walked it multiple times in both directions. Just before Mala špica (Innominata) we leave our backpacks and climb up the gully with faded markers and cairns, mostly I, occasionally II; II+ didn't seem anywhere to us, we climb to the panoramic summit. Significantly easier than last Sunday on the Sierah. We stay up top for a good half hour admiring the views of the divine western Julians, then descend to the secured A. Goitan path and continue along the north side of Mala špica to the junction with the normal path to Viš and descend to the panoramic Corsi hut where we sit for quite a while, then under Kapna stena to Viška planina and down the valley.
