In fact, the signpost at the top of Ostrič directs us down towards Ribnik, but there's a sign below directing towards Medvižica. If we look towards Medvižica, we can already see the sign marking that direction from the top. Later it's all marked. Also, locals consider the Žabnik area from somewhere around Goli vrh to Ostrič. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It also drew us to these parts. A bit our own way, a bit along the described Ločanka trail. Really, a hike for the soul and unplugging. Friendly locals, pristine nature, and I could list more...

Only now do I exactly understand how we did the reconnaissance with my colleague. That's why we always do reconnaissance, to precisely check the trail route and clear up path ambiguities. Now we exactly know how the path goes and we'll reconnoiter both peaks on the way - Medvižica and Razsušica. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the hike to the end of May due to unstable weather.
I think the criticism of my leading is unjustified. I only have a leading license A and I did that at 60 years old - 10 days in Bavšica. Actually, that's for leading up to 2000m. As an assistant guide, I can help in high mountains too. I haven't actually done that for years. I lead and assist four retiree groups and in high season I have six hikes per month. I like going on some guided ones with PD Rašica Ljubljana, but I won't do multi-day anymore, because they are too demanding for me and three-thousanders are already too strenuous for me.
So I think I've cleared up some dilemma. I live for mountains and alpine flowers and immensely enjoy it. See you!
