With ecological culture we understand the interdependence between nature and society and thus the understanding that nature enables the existence and development of humanity. Ecological culture is also connected with harmony between man and nature and between people. The concept of ecological culture means the individual's commitment to protecting nature from negative impacts. A characteristic of ecological culture is the ability to predict the consequences of human intervention in the environment.

Žakelj's bivouac on "Stebrasta cliff" Mežakla, suuuuper artistic installation that beneficially blends with the natural environment and offers hikers, besides nature's wonders, also cultural artistic enrichment.
With this artwork Mr. Žakelj surely deserves one of the awards that bring a fat addition to the pension.
