Yesterday 2.10. Vršič still misty at 9:00. Some wind calming down per forecast. First to Škrbina, snow in scree over ankles. Higher icy. From Goličica occasional projectiles. To Špička (down and up again) similar. Snow in scree, in shade ice under fresh. Day like a fairy tale. No one anywhere, except deer bellowing 4 hrs below me

Yesterday from Flori in Zadnja Trenta to shelter below Špička. Path start magnificent view of Bavški Grintovavec. First time on this path, very well marked. Above tree line full of flowers, reason for many stops, admiration, naming and photos. Just below shelter 4 mulberries too. First some clouds, then cleared over Špička and also over Jalovec. Wonderful views all around. Triglav in cloud all day, Prisank and Razor wonderful. Mountains left of shelter unknown to us. Pelci?? Closest Pelc above Klonice?? Shelter as on PZS page closed. Some hikers back from Jalovec, met some on path, two at shelter. Here time flows differently. Peace and peace again. Met Apollo. Don't know who surprised whom more

We met. Talk about mulberries... True as you say, time up there flows differently. And peace, peace. A bit short on views, last year alone twice and stayed overnight. Morning to summit. Such evening morning views hard to find! Pity closed! Last year excellent caretakers.
