Maybe you know why yesterday around 3 p.m. the SV helicopter landed around there.
First hovered over the ridge and then flew over Kocbekov dom 2x, third time landed and waited about three minutes and then flew to the ridge again. Looked like a rescue operation.

Zeleniške Spires are really great. I crossed them this year too. And they seem so beautiful to me that you have to hike them at least once a year.

I know the mentioned path is among climbing ones, but it was such a nice day on that tour. Miha finally had time, and Janez and I quickly got a day off, so we went together on the long-awaited climbing adventure. We left the car at Jermanca, then turned right into Repov Kot and via pathless terrain to Staničev Vrh. There we equipped with necessary climbing gear, which we didn't need because the path is well equipped with holds, pegs and ledges. We had the route description with us and looked for passages from spire to spire. It was fantastic and except that we turned back once because we didn't find the passage, everything went without problems amid open admiration of the nature around us and the rock that really allowed good climbing. At the top there was a bit of fog but we three lay down on the grassy carpet full of alpine flowers and enjoyed the experience. Back we went again through Repov Kot. The descent path is less pleasant in the upper part because you need to use hands at some places, climb, and the rock is crumbly, lots of scree on the path. The lower path is nice and leads past numerous water pools. Very nice.

It was super! And at the beginning we had such nice sunshine, so the view to Bela valley, Repov Kot and neighboring peaks was wonderful.
For those skilled in grade II climbing without protection, I highly recommend this tour, you'll hike a lot, climb a bit and above all enjoy the beautiful views.

It's true, Bojan was already so hospitable that I have nothing to add, Šodrovo classic, scenic ridge, good altitude gain, compact rock, good company, even better shoes... The traverse we recommend to everyone who can do it. No rope needed for descent from Staničev Vrh, can be downclimbed... Again we did "our" detours, this time Matej "caught" a nice grade IV! Thanks to both for company and photos. See you next time, your Pipi duo!

P.S. we witnessed the beginning of complications in Humar-Škarja in Planjava, unfortunately couldn't help... Hope it ended well!

Yesterday I went with three more colleagues to traverse the Zeleniške Spires ridge. Wonderful ridge traverse, pleasant climbing around II grade (if you search, you can find more too) and heavenly ladder, which doesn't quite lead to heaven, but close enough.

On Saturday 18.8. now already traditional traverse of Zeleniške Spires third weekend in October. Besides standard four-Janez, Samo, Zdravko, Štef also Dare and Luka participated.
