From 1.10.2020 to 31.5.2021 the hut on Zelenica is open from Friday at 7.00 to Sunday until 16.00, as well as all holidays and vacations. For groups the hut will be open also on other days.

Today on Zelenjak. It was a nice day, still lots of snow. Ice axe comes in handy, you have to cross quite a few snowfields.

Palec today already snow-free (snowy only 3m crossing over gully with unpleasant exit), winter gear not superfluous for Zelenjak. Good luck!

I used a nice autumn day and climbed Zelenjak again. And Palec of course.
Only noteworthy snowfield under Zelenjak no problem as footprints deep enough.
Here and there blew stronger bit, otherwise super nice, and hut at Zelenica open.

They say the weather will worsen again, so once more to this end. I also met Martino and Zdenko.
A bit below Zelenjak also Valerija. She hadn't been to Zelenjak yet, so we went together.
She went to the valley, I to Palec.
On Zelenica pleasant -8°C, later quite okay for hiking. Wind blew now and then, but clear without a cloud.
Around the hut on Zelenica snow only for decoration.

Today I decided to go to Zelenjak, Palec and along the ridge over Mala glava to Vrtača. When I arrived at Zelenjak I saw the cross was down, winds past days broke metal cross support. I decided to set the cross back temporarily. I put it between two rocks and piled stones.
