Access to starting point:
We drive to the border crossing Ljubelj, where before the tunnel we turn left towards Zelenica, and then we park on the parking lot behind the store Kompas shop.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue on a transport road which ascends to the bottom station of the former one-seater chairlift Zelenica I, and on a steep transport road we continue on a ski track. After a short ascent, we will notice on the right a well-visible footpath and a little ahead next to it also a sign "fair play", which means that we share the footpath with both mountaineers and cyclists. After a short ascent, the path passes into the forest, where it turns left and then continues on slopes of Ljubeljščica. Further, we cross a bigger torrent, from where a nice view opens up towards Begunjščica, and then through the forest also a larger number of smaller gullies, where passages are not difficult. Higher, we step out of the forest and a few 10 strides ahead also onto a transport road.
On the road, we ascend past Jančmanov kot (bench and table with a nice view), and after a few 10 meters we continue sharply right, on the path which first diagonally ascends towards the right, then turns left and crosses slopes towards the left. Further, we ascend diagonally above the transport road, then cross also a somewhat steeper gully and a smaller slide, from which a nice view opens up towards surrounding mountains. After the panoramic crossing, the path returns into the forest and for a few minutes ascends diagonally on slopes of Spodnji Plot, higher also crossing the old ski track. After the "ski slope" the path leads through a lane of forest, and then in a minute or two we descend to the mountain hut Dom na Zelenici.
