Description of mountain:
Col de Valvacin is a 2,372-meter-high peak on the west side of the Marmolada group near the Buffaure ski slopes. Rifugio el Zedron mountain hut is located near the summit. From the top there is a very nice view of the peaks above Val di San Nicolò and the Latemar and Catinaccio groups. The Sassolungo and Sella groups are also nicely visible.
