Col Gentile

Description of mountain:
The panoramic mountain of noble name has been easily accessible since the extremely steep road to the 1,824 m high Passo della Forcella saddle was asphalted, via a broad ridge overgrown with blueberries and rhododendrons. A marked path leads to the summit, which is crowned/spoiled by a metal cross with a bell and logbook. In good weather, one can see almost everything the Carnic Alps offer.
