Dom na Peci

Description of mountain hut:
The Dom na Peci mountain hut is located on the eastern part of the Peca range. It is open from May to October, and in winter on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays if the weather is nice. Due to the forest near the hut, there is no good view. For a view, one must climb to the summit of Mala Peca, less than 10 minutes away. Near the hut is also the King Matjaž cave, reachable in ten minutes of easy walking. Slightly below the hut is the chapel of St. Cyril and Methodius.
