Description of mountain:
Kordeževa glava, better known as Peca, is the highest peak of the Peca range. It is located on the border with Austria above the Mežiška dolina valley in Koroška. Slovenians know Peca mainly from the tale of King Matjaž and his cave on the Slovenian side of the mountain, while Austrians have cable cars high up on the upper slopes, making it known to skiers. As there are no higher peaks nearby, it offers a nice panoramic view. Nearby Uršlja gora, Raduha and the Olševa ridge are nicely visible, as are the highest peaks of the Kamnik and Savinja Alps. To the north, the Austrian Alps are visible, with the closest being the Stubalpe-Packalpe and Seetaler Alps.
