Dom v Tamarju

Description of mountain hut:
The Dom v Tamarju mountain hut is located at the edge of a large meadow, offering a beautiful view of the peaks and rock faces of the mountains surrounding the Tamar and Planica valleys. Most visitors choose the hut as the destination of their trip, while some use it only as a starting or intermediate point for high-mountain tours.
Near the hut there is also a small chapel with memorial plaques commemorating mountaineers who died in these mountains.
Holy Mass is held every Sunday in July and August at 3:00 p.m.
